Final Touch(DISCONTINUED)

It is already late in the afternoon, but for Gun, he's just starting his day. Oftentimes, training starts in the afternoon. He has already prepared his routine for the next competition since last month but he remains unsatisfied and makes changes every time he practices

Beauty and the Beast was his chosen accompaniment. Although he's not totally familiar with the song, he still chose it anyway as he thinks he'll just be able to work on it anyway.

He competes in Men's Figure Skating, but it cannot be avoided that he is still the object of jealousy among his teammates even if they're competing for another category. I guess that's just the price of having won so many gold medals.

Mild: Ew, Mama Godji and the other athletes are saying that he's punctual and hard working not knowing that he is often late and looks unenthusiastic to do his routine! They think he's all that but he's really not. I mean just look at him!

Mild murmured these words but made sure Gun was around so that he hears everything. In fact, Gun is quite used to it. Mild is competing in Ladies Figure Skating under the same team but he has to admit, she's really not that great and actually, she's refusing to ask for anybody's help because she wants to prove that she's so much better than all of them. Since Gun is the winningest with the most gold medals, he gets most of the attention much to Mild's disapproval.

Gun: I was just 2 minutes late, bitch.

Although Gun murmured these words quietly, he did it with as much venom as he could muster. After hearing what Mild said, he immediately proceeded to Mama Godj, his figure skating coach

Godji: Oh good, you're here! Ready?

Gun proceeded to hug his coach and kiss her cheek. Godji has been his mother figure ever since his skating career began. His mom was in the province so Godji was the only person Gun could call mother in the city. That's why they are so close.

Gun nodded and after a 10-minute warm-up he immediately wore his lucky Jackson figure skate shoes and got on the ice.

He then signaled Mama Godji to play the music for him. The music starts to play, and he starts to slide his shoes on the ice, he's getting ready to do his first move. He steps on his left foot and then jumps up off the ice with the right leg, the Bunny Hop move.

That's kinda simple to start his routine but he's just starting, so he does another rotation and he jump-starts from the back outside edge and lands on the back outside edge of the same foot, the Toe Loop move.

He heard applause but he put no mind to it. He does some more spins, strokes, jumps, and crossovers. He's close to being done, now he's aiming to do a perfect axel. He needs to do an extra half rotation and land gliding background. When he's about to execute this, he fails.

The Axel is the easiest jump to spot but the hardest to execute. Luckily, he was able to have a safe fall but he was not able to execute the move properly at all. He stood up but decided to rest first.

Meanwhile, Off and his crew just finished a streetdance competition in the mall. As they were walking, they passed by a skating rink and there at the side of the rink Off saw Tay, his best friend. He also saw Gun on the ice, doing his routine.

Off stops to watch. And he doesn't just watch, he stares. Even as the members of the dance crew jeer at him, Off remains where he stood and continues to stare.

Ofcourse, Off already knows Gun, Tay is his best friend and Tay is also Gun's manager and ex-boyfriend. Also, Gun is famous for his talent in figure skating. Off had some knowledge in figure skating, as he did it when he was younger. That was before he got into streetdance. But you need not be an expert to notice that Gun moves like an angel. He moves gracefully and seems like he's super sure of his movements, although to Off, his performance had no effect. It was too boring and simple and unexpectedly, Gun even fell down.

Eventually, Gun stood up and went to Tay and his coach who was seething in anger.. Off was not standing too far, so he was able to eavesdrop on their conversation.

Godji: Gun, what happened to you? Are you not comfortable with the song? Why is it boring and plain? And you keep changing movements in your routine. What was that? Didn't I tell you to do salchows and such? And you didn't even execute the axel perfectly, we already talked about this. At this rate, it's impossible for you to qualify for the National Team which I recall, is your lifelong dream.

Gun: I don't know Ma, i feel like i need to make more adjustments. The song is too slow and bland, I think that i should change some of my movements, but i feel like it's not right also. I don't know.

Godji: Then change your song! And this time you will stick with one routine and perfect it! It better be the one with higher points of movements! I can't believe you are being like this.

Off heard it all and for some strange reason he was glued to the spot. He could now feel the members of his dance crew laughing at him.

Tay noticed that Off was there so Off bowed to him. Tay smiled at Off before approaching Gun.He looked at Off but this time, he seemed to be in deep thought.

Tay: Why don't we seek help from others? I mean one who can add a different flavor to your performance. I think we should seek help from a dancer who has even just a little knowledge in figure skating. In this way, we get a different perspective. That person might also be able to aid us in choosing better music for the routine

Off agrees to Tay's idea. He didn't expect that his friend is capable of thinking after all..

Gun: Do you really think that kind of thing works? I'm a figure skater and I need help from a dancer who knows just a little information about figure skating? That's preposterous!

Godji: Do you know someone, Tay? I'm not sure we can pull it off with just ourselves, I'm a coach but if my skater is like this, I'm not sure if we can do it. Just a little help from someone might not be that bad.

Tay: Oh, I may know just the perfect person.

Tay said those words while looking at Off. Sadly though, Off was pulled away from the rink, by the members of the dance crew.Tay was not able to talk to him at all.
