Its been three months, me and Jessica are near the end of our loved up summer. Jessica has a choice of going to my school or moving around with her parents and being home schooled. Of course she decided my school. Honestly I don't see what she sees in me, I'm just happy to have her.
Jessica walks into the room yelling. "I am now registered for Northern High school!" I clap laughing "congratulations no more moving around!" I chant Jessica smiles "honestly at first it was a nice vacation from the real world, but I'm a teenager and I'd like to stay in one place and keep some friends." I smile contently "I know babe."
Jessica and I moved in together a month ago after I turned 17. My mother honestly couldn't care any less I have my drivers license and a car I'm currently paying off, life is good. I'm working on getting a job so when Jessica turns 18 I'll help her pay rent. Its not that much only 300 bucks a month. Her parents agreed to pay for the water and electricity til we get on our feet. Jessica looks at me and smiles. "You seem happy?" I say sarcastically. "Just happy I have you!" She says in a cheerful tone.
After five minutes we hear a knock at the door. "Hello?" Jessica opens it up curiously. "Is Amanda there?" Haley asks. I walk over and I open up the door wide enough to where she can see me. "Are you ok Haley?" Haley look down at her feet. I can tell there something wrong. "Can I come in?" She asks. "Yeah I guess" I look at Jessica assuringly. Jessica nods and opens up the door to let her in. Haley walks and and turns around to look at me . I roll my eyes at the wall trying not to make eye contact. I look over at Jessica and ask "hey babe can I talk to Haley in private for like five minutes?" Jessica nods then walks up stares. "What do you want Haley?" I ask accusingly. Haley glares at me. "The last time we talked you came into my house telling me what to do, so don't you dare ask me what I want." Haley states. "Is that all you came here for? Maybe you should thank me for saving your ass. The cops were about to be called if it weren't for me, you'd be in rehab or jail or in a mental institution!" Haley looks towards the door with tears welling up in her eyes. "You know you have far worse addictions than me. I may not know when to do them, but that's what makes you dangerous." I roll my eyes looking towards the door. "You know at least I'm getting help I'm in counceling there's a time and place for everything. Its time for the both of us to grow out of our old habits." Tears start running down Haley's face "yeah maybe we should drop our old habits. I'll start with you!" Haley yells walking out the door and slamming it shut. Jessica walks downs stares hugging me. I push her off wondering what just happened. Jessica apologizes I keep staring at the ground. "How can she just walk away like that?" Jessica shrugs at my question. Ringggggg I pick up my phone to hear a blood curdling scream. I drop the phone out of shock. "What was that?"
So that's all sorry about the cliff hanger, but not everything can be a happy ending. Sorry if there are any grammar mistakes or miss spells. No one perfect! Bye lovelys.
