I was walking to the gym until a tall brunnete scared me from behind. "BOO!"

" WHAT THE HELL?!" I said getting angrier by the second only realizing that, that was the first time I had talked today.

"yeah, yeah I'm sorry but I had to get you to say something today! You were way too quiet in class." she said with a sweet smile under her high pitched voice.

" it's not like I wanted to say anything in class. Besides you've known me long enough to understand that I'm shy Quera." I said with a soft voice.

" of course I do,but you really have to get over your social anxiety if you want to be in a band." she said being serious.
It wasn't like her to be serious like that so I made sure to understand.

" Okay, fine ill try harder"

" I just want you to know that the team counts on you not because your the ace but because we trust you more than anyone else to bring that ball down to ground!!" she said getting pumped up
" There's also one other thing I want you to know." she said getting serious again.

" No matter what the situation is, the whole team is not afraid to give advice on what to do. So don't be afraid to ask us kay!" she said smiling.

She's my best friend, Quera. We've known each other since middle school.Shes also the team captain of the kitsuna girls volleyball team and has always had high spirits.

We finally got to the gym after the very long conversation of " not giving up " and " to follow my dreams " at first it was annoying like another conversation but in the end it helped me untie a few nots in my stomach. We walked in to the gym to only see two boys giving us love letters and confessing there feelings when we didn't even know them.

I stayed silent making sure that the two men didn't hear my soft voice because of my anxiety.I just nuged Quera's elbow to take the love letters and decline them.
