Star Wars: Conflicted Empire

Chapter 1

An imperial shuttle touched down at the planet of Rodia with many other shuttles with Vader being in one of those ships, he was also accompanied by imperial commander Len Welch who was on his 10th mission as a commander for the empire. The doors opened as all the stormtroopers got out of the Lambda-class T-4a shuttles, all of them followed their leader Vader to the planet's city, and they were then met by The Prince of Rodia Leo Semmer.

"Welcome, Lord Vader."

The Dark Lord turned his face to the Senator

"We had some missing troopers here, who were also rumored to have seen a Jedi; we came here to confirm if these rumors are true."

"Lord Vader, there are no Jedi here that---"

"We shall see!"

Said Vader while using the force to choke The Rodian Prince.

"From now on, I will be your new leader"

Vader let go of Semmer and walked to the palace in front of him with his troops following him while the Rodian Prince gasped for air, he lifted his head and looked at Vader with a look of hate. He took a comlink out of his belt and put it near his mouth:

"Now is the time, commander."

"Roger that sir." Replied the man he was talking to with the comlink.

Then suddenly, blasts hit the imperial stormtroopers out of nowhere, some blasts were even aimed at Vader; however, he saw them in his head before they hit him so he quickly deflected all the blasts with his crimson lightsaber while many of the stormtroopers died, the rest who weren't shot, quickly saw where they were getting shot from.

They saw the Rodians that were on the top of the huge palace in front of them, the stormtroopers shot back but the Rodians outnumbered them, the empire wasn't expecting the Rodians to be this strong

"Call for reinforcements, Commander." Said, Vader

"Right away, my lord." Rejoined Commander Len.

Len got out his comlink, but all he could hear while trying to report to Admiral Porter on The Star Destroyer above Rodia was a buzzing noise, he kept trying to fix it, though nothing happened.

"Lord Vader! They've scrambled all communication inside the city." He remarked.

"Then we will have to leave the planet and inform Admiral Porter of them to get us back up, go and take some of your men with you, the rest and I will hold them off until you come back," Vader uttered.

"Yes, my lord" Len riposted.

Commander Len walked to his 2 pilots Cason and Arrow "We need to get back to Admiral Porter, go prepare the shuttle."

"But why?" asked Arrow.

"You'll see when we get there, now go! We have to be quick." Replied Len.

"Alright. Alright." Arrow muttered.

The two went inside their shuttle and prepared it for flight while Commander Len held his comlink with his cybernetic left hand

"Racer, Come here and bring the rest of the squad with you"

"Right away!" responded the Stormtrooper he contacted who was his closest friend during these dark times.

Then after the rest of commander Len's squad arrived, 3 shuttles began taking off that their squad (The Shadow Squad) were in; however, Len and Racer were in a different space shuttle than the ones their squad was in. Suddenly, while they were blasting off, a ship appeared in the sky far away from them, but close to the Rodian castle, Vader was closer to the castle than the Shadow Squad, he was able to sense a force-sensitive inside the ship. Vader's hologram appeared on the holodisk of Len's shuttle while it was flying with the other shuttles towards Admiral Porter's Star Destroyer.
