Third Person POV

¨Hah..¨

The (e/c) eyes of a young male fluttered open with clear urgency, a sigh leaving his parted lips that soon formed into a smirk.

The cold rock meeting with the flesh on his warm back, the lingering sensation of the prickly grass rubbing against his legs, it all felt so real..

'How amusing'

He stood up and dusted himself off, the milky moon shining onto his figure standing in the middle of a forest.

How should he live his life this time?

Should he give being an assassin another try? Or should he go for the royal who killed him in his last life? Maybe become a knight?

Ah, how bothersome..

How about just living as he pleased, without a plan?

After going through the same repetition, he couldn't care less at this point.

His uninterested eyes glanced down at his hands before his hands placed itself on his face, that freely traveled over any obstacle.

A soft chuckle escaped from him at how his situation seemed to be more interesting than it seemed.

You see, to be murdered by a royal was one thing, but for him to be born again in his younger body was another.

His eyes glanced at the stone built pathway that was basically calling out to him.

Ah, yes. He still had to undergo the same things he had gone through so many times.

With another sigh, he set foot onto the pathway he had stepped on so many lifetimes before.

One step, two step, three step, four step...

¨Now.. If I remember correctly, which i'm sure I do, I take a right and I meet.. him¨ The words he whispered were laced with clear hints of disdain as he approached the two extending pathways, left and right which were both sided with large, bulky rocks.

Without hesitation, the male took a quick right turn only to see the person he was expecting.

¨Oh? What a fine man we have here.¨ A deep yet sly voice purred out, quite expressively amused at the (h/c) haired male before him.

Strange, why did he feel so familiar..?

The (e/c) eyed man in front of him, for some reason, brought him a strong feeling of nostalgia

¨Ah, yes. Hisoka Morrow.¨ (Name) called out to the man with a face full of disinterest.

The Joker who, in (Name)'s previous lives, viewed the male as a toy and nothing more, a simple card waiting to be used just like the rest stacked in his full and complete deck.

This wasn't (Name's) first time meeting him at all. Instead, it was more like there constant and inevitable reunion,

¨Correct¨ The Joker, whose narrow amber eyes glinted with suspicion and curiosity, gave a nod. His usual smirk was still widely displayed on his face.

His interest was now further piqued.

The Joker, Hisoka Morrow, a sly man known to mercilessly slaughter without any guilt. While most would tremble in fear at a mere glimpse, the man in front of him showed no sort of panic or interest at all.

How compelling..

¨May I ask how you know my name?¨ The Joker raised one of his red tinted eyebrows with an expectant expression.

¨Well.. That, I cannot tell you." (Name) hummed out a response without any emotion clear on his face.

After going through such situations so many times, he was getting thoroughly adjusted to the others presence.

"Hmm, I see." The Joker's eyes seemed to gaze over the other in an examining way before darting off once he was done.

He had to indulge in this nostalgia to a greater extent, at least until he finally felt satiated by this constant sense of acquaintanceship.

"Please do follow me. One shouldn't carelessly wander around at night.¨ The Joker spoke with what one would assume to be kindness, however (Name) knew the Joker wasn't that kind of man.

He always, no matter what, has an ulterior motive.

¨It's quite dangerous~¨ As the red haired man whispered those words, an overly sweet smile-like smirk slithered onto his lips, a sickening smile that (Name) had gotten accustomed to.

"You're right, it seems i'll have to trouble you with myself.¨ The indifferent male smoothly spoke without any traces of emotion detectable in his tone of voice.

After all, the trouble was undoubtedly the Joker and not himself.
