2: Hogwarts

"You have no business talking to me like that mudblood."

Hogwarts:

I come from an only pureblood family, as long as my family goes back it is pureblood. It has a long line of pureblood than the Malfoys.

My dad works in the ministry as Kornelius Bloeuf's vice Minister. My mom works as a very famous Auror. She travels around the world so I don't see her that often. My brother is about to go in his 3rd year at Hogwarts.

I dressed up in jeans and a black crop top and took my pink blazer on. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and walked down to my mom and dad.

"Take on your boots," my mother said.

My mom went to get the flow powder. My brother went first, he took out the fire then he stood in the fireplace. " Now remember to take only one small hand of the floo powder," my dad said to my brother. He shouted diagonally, he disappeared in green smoke.

Then it was my turn, I was a little nervous since it was only my second time doing this. I went slowly into the fireplace, grabbed a handful of the flow powder, and said "diagonally" then threw the flower on the ground.

I got my wand at Ollivander's. It was in oak and was made of dragon heartstring.

The next thing I wanted to do was get a pet. I was so happy when I found out we were allowed to have a pet. I already know that I want an owl.

When we went into the store my dad said "my daughter needs the best owl you have."

"Of course Mr. Smith." The man said.

He came out with a Northern Saw-Whet Owl. I decided to name him Willie.

I got everything I needed and headed back to the mansion with my family.

The next morning I woke up early to get breakfast. I am really excited to go to Hogwarts. I took on a black skirt and a white blouse and the same pink blazer. When I got down I saw my mom had made pancakes for me and my brother. We ate the pancakes and went to the station

I hugged my parents and said goodbye to them at the platform. I promised to write to them the next day. I noticed that many people stared at our family. My brother helped me with my owl and suitcase.

My brother let me sit with his friends in a carriage. They were nice to me. I noticed one of them was named Cedric. My brother was in Hufflepuff. Both my parents had been in Gryffindor. When we arrived a man I think was named Hagrid followed us to some boats.

A girl named Pansy Parkinson was in my boat. We became friends and she sounded nice.

Professor McGonagall followed us into a room, she then left us. I turned around to hear some boys talking. It was a blonde guy and a black-haired guy. "This is Crabbe and Goyle," The blonde guys said. " And I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." The blonde guy said, taking his hand out for the other boy to shake. Then a red-haired boy laughs. " You think my name is funny, do you. There is no need to ask yours, Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe you must be a Weasley" The guy she now knows name is Draco says.

I know the Malfoys are also one of the longest lines of pureblood so I shouldn't be on their bad side.

Sophia walks to the boys and says "shut up Malfoy, we haven't even been sorted yet and you already making yourself looking like a fool"

"You have no business talking to me like that mudblood."

"Oh well you're wrong I'm pureblood "and I come from a longer pureblood line than you I thought. "My name is Sophia, Sophia Smith." Sophia could see Draco's face turned a little red when she said that. The room was totally quiet. Sophia did not see that she had an audience.

Then McGonagall came and they followed her into the great hall.

In front of where the teacher sat was a small stool with a very old hat on. Sophia spotted her brother and smiled at him.

McGonagall called out the names.

Hermione Granger was the first. McGonagall put the hat on her. Gryffindor the hat shouted and a great sound came from the hall and many clapped.

Some time went by and Draco Malfoy was up. The hat didn't even touch his head when it said Slytherin. The next Person was Harry Potter, the boy who lived. That was the guy Sophie stood up for. The hat thought a little and then shouted Gryffindor.

Then McGonagall said," Sophie Smith." It felt like all the eyes were on me. Well, it was because it was my turn.

I sat on the stool then the hat thought when it said." You are a smart witch so you would be great in Ravenclaw. You have a lot of courage and bravery so Gryffindor is open for you too. You're very patient, hardworking, and loyal. So where should I put you? It must be Gryffindor!!"

You walk down to the table and hear loud clapping. You shake hands with the girl called Hermione.

You make eye contact with the boy named Malfoy. He looks angry.

In the next chapter, the story will really start this was just the pre info.
