A/N: Cycling through prompts and I thought of this, so lets do this my guys. This takes place in high school and Aren is still trying to break a habit of fighting, though he'd easily win in a fight, lets just pretend like this is one fight he lost.
He sat just a house down from where the psychic lived. He was bruised and bloodied, his hair was a mess, and his glasses were cracked to where they were nearly broken. Aren Kuboyasu sat with his arms against his stomach, his teeth clenched as he swallowed the pain he felt. Every now and then he'd cough up some blood, spitting it onto the ground. He wasn't sure of how or why he'd lost the fight, but he did, and he sighed, leaning against the tall fence, he shut his eyes to try and get the spinning feeling he felt to stop.
Saiki looked out the window of his room, yawning slightly. He was glad that his parents weren't home for the week, it meant his home would be quiet and actually pleasant to be in. As he looked outside to see the sun setting, something purple caught his eye, a deep plum like purple that looked raggedy almost. He stood and went outside to see who or what it was, only to find his friend hunched over, spitting a bit of blood out. He looked perplexed, wondering what the hell happened. He darted to his room to grab and put his germanium ring on, sighing softly as silence filled his head, quickly returning to his friend laying by the side of the road.
He carefully approached the man, his voice soft as he knelled down close to him. "Kuboyasu? Are you alright? What the hell even happened?" He got closer, gently grabbing his hand, Aren looked at the psychic. "S-Saiki?" He stuttered, trying to form a proper sentence. He chuckled weakly "No, it's nothing, just a little scrap is all." Saiki rolled his eyes. "Right. Can you stand?" He helped the other stand comfortably, the other nodding and stumbling slightly. The psychic helped the other to his home, where he gently set the other onto the sofa and heading to the bathroom where the first aid kit was stored. After grabbing the first aid, he got a glass of water and some pain meds for his friend to take.
"Thank you, Saiki. I'm sorry you had to see me like this, or take care of me like this." Saiki simply shook his head and gave his plum haired friend the water and medicine. "Don't mention it, you're probably the only person I genuinely like." Both chuckled and Saiki sat in front of Aren. Saiki opened up the first aid kit and looked at Aren. "Think you could take your shirt off?" Aren chuckled weakly. "Buy me dinner first, Saiki." The bubblegum haired psychic laughed a bit as he saw his friend slip off the shirt that was damp with blood. What laid underneath was a very toned, very bruised set of abs. There a few cuts that were still bleeding a bit, but nothing too serious. The psychics cheeks dusted a light shade of red upon the sight, coughing slightly and reaching into the first aid kit for some ointment and bandages.
The plum haired delinquent noticed this and chuckled. "Feeling alright, Saiki? You're looking a little red." The psychic paused and laughed. "I'm quite alright, thanks though, now this may sting, so I apologize in advance." The delinquent nodded as the other gently rubbed some alcohol onto his cuts, cleaning them up. Aren bit his lip slightly as the wounds were cleaned, followed by some ointment and bandages. "I'm gonna wash this, I can lend you one of my shirts if you'd like, up to you though." Saiki said this after cleaning and bandaging all of Arens wounds, grabbing the shirt in one hand and the first aid in his other. "Please, if it's not too much trouble of course." Aren looked at the other who nodded and walked out of the room.
A few minutes passed and Saiki returned, tossing Aren a shirt and sitting next to him. As Aren slipped the shirt on. "You're welcome to crash here for the night, my parents are out for the week, and I want to keep an eye on your wounds." The delinquent nodded. "Thanks again Saiki, for all the trouble you're putting in for me, I really appreciate it." Saiki smiled, nodding. "Can I ask you a question?" Saiki turned to his plum haired friend with a puzzled look. "Why did you help me?" The psychic regretted the question, he knew it was coming and still, he sighed. "It's hard to explain, out of all our "friends" you're really the only one I like." He used air quotes when saying friends. "In more ways than one, actually." He rubbed the back of his neck.
Aren smiled, what he heard made him happy, and he gently placed a hand on the others cheek, causing the psychic to lean into the hand a bit. "May I?" The plum haired males voice was calm and gentle, a smile tugging at his lips slightly. Saiki nodded, not fully realizing what was going to happen, and Aren closed the gap between the two. The kiss was gentle and sweet, both parties feeling a jolt of passion and love in the kiss alone. It felt longer than it was, but when it was broken the two smiled at each other. "I like you too, in more ways than one." Saiki smiled a soft and gentle smile, pulling the other into a hug. "Promise me something though." Aren nodded. "Anything." "Try not to get into so many fights anymore, it's bad for your health." The psychic chuckled and the delinquent nuzzled into Saiki. "I promise to do my best."
