Hush little darling, come to me
This little lullaby I sing softly
Listen, for it may save
A precious soul within broken wingsWas once a vibrant angel
An angel singing with glee,
What happened to her
Causing to break, to weep.Ah, I have come to an idea why
Why this precious little thing had gone good bye
A demon struck her glass heart
Leaving shards of glass to leave a deep mark. There I see in her eyes,
Something bleeding, something broken
Her soul too weak,
Her eyes too transparent.I see a heart torn apart,
Hurting as if she'd never feel.
Withered like a flower, it was surreal
How it has changed so fast, so cold, so hard. Her once precious heart has turned into stone
With patches and stitches, what a tearing sight.
Eyes becoming feirce, as her soul became dark
Oh how can I change this back how it used to be?I wished I had loved you, like you have done
I wish I could turn back the time that was blown
I can see a tinge of hope
Slowly dimming, slowly fading. Please show me that tinge of hope,
Hope of renewing the broken soul
Hold on, my beloved.Never let go.
