Sung-mi was lying in bed, thinking about her childhood.
"Father, why do you always tell me that I'm the strongest?" the little princess asked her father.
"Because you are, Sung-Mi! No one can ever defeat you!" the king said and smiled sweetly at his daughter.
"You are the princess! You have to protect the kingdom at all costs!" he said.
"But who will protect me, then?" she asked, cutely pouting her lips.
"You. You will protect yourself!" the king answered, caressing her hair.
"I have to protect myself and the kingdom too? That's a big responsibility, father!" she said, while her eyes widened.
"Yes, my princess. It is." her father said, "Sung-Mi, I know I sound greedy and selfish, but nothing comes before this kingdom. If, in the future, you have to choose between this kingdom and something else, promise me that you will choose our kingdom."
Sung-Mi answered without thinking, "Sure, it's my responsibility, after all!"
"Aish, you didn't even think before answering! My daughter is all grown up!" he said proudly.
"Then let me go on a ride on your phoenix!" Sung Mi asked cutely.
"Alright, everything for my princess!"
She sadly smiled, remembering that day.
Her train of thoughts was interrupted by Taehyung, who came inside with a bowl in his hands.
"Hey, here is your porridge!" he said, helping her to sit up.
"I can sit by myself," she said.
"Oh, stop it, will you? You look so pale and weak, so please let me help!" he said and helped her to sit.
"Here, eat this!" he said, sitting beside her.
"I can eat by myself!" Sung-mi protested.
"No, you can't! Stop whining now!" Taehyung said strictly, blowing on the porridge to cool it down.
"Open your mouth! Here comes the airplane ~" he sang, telling her to open her mouth.
"Tch! You're such a child!" Sung-Mi chuckled and opened her mouth, eating the porridge.
