The Dinner

Perrie's P.O.V

As soon as we left the driveway I could tell that Zayn wasn't his usual self. He seemed really nervous, but sort of distracted as well.

" Babe what's up?" I asked him gently.

"Huh? Oh um just work, it's a bit stressful at the moment."

"Well at least you have a 3 week break so you can spend more time with me!" I said jokingly, nudging him slightly.

"Exactly." He replied smiling at me.

He's so cute! I couldn't help thinking to myself.

"Ok we're nearly here so I'm gonna need you to put this on" he said, handing me a blindfold.

"Alrighty then!" I said, laughing at his randomness.

Just as I finished putting the blindfold on Zayn parked the car. He lead me over to the area where I assumed we were going to be eating.

He pulled the blindfold off gently and I was met with an amazing sight. Zayn had set up a picnic table on the side of a lake and put fairy lights up all over the trees.

"Oh my gosh Zayn this is gorgeous! Did you do it yourself?"

"Yeah but I had a little help from the girls. So you do like it?" He asked.

"Yes! It's perfect."

Zayn's P.O.V

I was beyond nervous. Perrie was completly unsuspecting of anything, which is exactly what I had hoped for. I made small talk as we ate our way through the meal.

"I'm just going to go to the toilet I'll be back soon love." I said to Perrie.

"Ok. But don't be to long! "

I made my way over to behind the small toilet where I had planned to meet Niall.

"Is everything ready?" I asked him.

"Yep! Everyone's behind the bush, Louis has the video camera and here's the guitar. Do you have the ring?"

"Sure do! Right here." I pulled out the ring that I had bought the previous week.

"Alright guess it's go time!" Niall said to me as he handed me the guitar.

Perrie's P.O.V

I saw Zayn making his way back from the toilet. He was carrying something in his hand. Wait a

is that... a guitar? I stood up confused and asked Zayn what he was doing and why he got a guitar out of the toilet.

"I'll explain it later I just want to sing you something."

"Ok?" I replied, really confused at this point.

He started strumming the familiar chords of one of my favourite songs - What Makes You Beautiful (A/N I know, cliche but I had to!)

After the song finished Harry, Louis, Liam, Niall, Jesy, Jade and Leigh-Anne came out of the bush.

"Perrie Louise Edwards, you have been the perfect girlfriend to me even though ive never been the perfect boyfriend. We've made it through so many ups and downs and I know that I've always said I would like to make you my wife. Will you accept that challange?" I said, somewhat nervously as I pulled out the ring.

Hey guys :) I know I've been seriously crap at updating but we just moved so I've been a bit busy with the new house and the new school etc. Heck not to mention how tired I am! Haha.
