Chapter 6: We Have a Cheater

Eliza had another long day. They had gone on another field trip. This time it was to the zoo. There were 4 chaperones including Eliza.
The groups:
Blaine's Mom(Pam): Sam, Kurt, Mercedes, Blaine
Brittany's Dad: Brittany, Santana, Quinn
Artie's Mom: Artie, Mike, Finn, Puck
Eliza: Dave, Rachel, Tina, Matt
Once again Eliza and her group had to keep following Dave's lead. He ran from the mammal section to the reptile section. At one point she lost track of him, but luckily spotted him looking at the crocodiles. She had had enough and pulled him aside to talk. "Dave I know your excited to be here, but you need stick with the group and give others a turn to look at the animals they want to see, " Eliza explained. "Why?" Dave whined. "Because if you get lost you wont be able to ho home and as for the animal selecting because it's the nice thing to do. Remember treat other the way you want to be treated," Eliza said and Dave reluctantly nodded. They met up with the rest of the group and went to the bird section of the zoo.
Meanwhile Pam's group was on their way to see the red pandas. On their way there they saw a cotton candy cart and got some cotton candy. "Mommy, can we get pleases ome cotten candy?" asked Blaine. "Of course, but you'll also have to drink some water because it's a lot of sugar," Pam said to the boys. They all nodded and Pam got a big bucket of pink cotton candy they could share. They walked around some more and they saw tigers, lions, and polar bears. They spotted Eliza's group and they merged into one big group. Pam walked along side Eliza and they introduced themselves. They shared a couple words and talked about how the trio was going so far. Pam could see the genuine happiness behind Eliza's smile and knew that all the things Blaine said about her being an amazing teacher were true. They looked at the ostriches and saw tall giraffes. Pam wanted to get pictures of this trip and had Blaine, Kurt, Mercedes, and Zam pose infront of the giraffes. Soon after it was time to leave. They boarded the bus and Eliza counted all the kids to make sure everyone was there. On the way back Baline and Kurt talked about their favorite parts of the day and made a promise to ask their parents if they could visit the zoo together again. Once arriving to school, Eliza allowed the kids to play on the playground for the remaining 10 minutes of the school day. The days leading up to the trip had been full of unfinished work. Eliza and John knew that she had quite a bit of work to catch up on and she would be out of the house until pretty late. John took this opportunity to bring someone over. What he didnt know was that Eliza had finished her work earlier then she had anticipated.
She packed up her belongings and closed up her classroom. She said goodbye to the staff who were still at school and she happily drove home only to find the house was a total mess. She headed to her bedroom and tried to open it, but it was locked so she took out her keys and opened the door to find John in bed with another woman. "What the heck? What's is going on in here? Please dont tell me this is happening?" Eliza asked in shock. "What do you think is happening?" John snapped at her angirly. "How could you do this John? We were going to get married," Eliza said, tears forming in her eyes. "You never thought of my needs plus the only good thing that would come out of marrying you was all the doe I would get," John said before turning his attention back to the woman in his bed. Eliza took off her ring and knew she needed to get out of there. She decided to go to Peggy's house since Angelica was having her date night with her husband, John Church.
Eliza held repressed her tears and drove to Peggy's house. She knocked on Peggy's door and Peggy opened the door to find a distraught Eliza. "What happened Liza?" Peggy asked concerned. "I found John in bed with another woman. He told me that he only wanted money and lust," Eliza explained as tears poured down her face. "Its going to be okay Eliza. He was an idiot. You are way too good for him. He is the one who doesn't deserve you. Plus you are going to find someone 100 times better than him, I just know it," Peggy said. "Thanks Peggs, is it okay if I say here tonight?" Eliza asked. "Stay as long as you need. I will call up Angie and we will beat the living life out of him," Peggy said angirly, "No one breaks my sister's heart and gets away with it!" "Peggy please calm down. We can deal with him later. I just dont want to talk about it anymore," Eliza said. "I won't go after him for now. How about we get some snacks and have a Disney movie marathon?" Peggy suggested. Eliza nodded and dried some of her tears. Peggy got up and went into the kitchen getting out an assortment of sweets and popcorn. She brought the food into the living room and placed it on the living room table. She then got a bunch of blankets and tissues for Eliza. She then turned on her TV and opened up Disney+. The first of many movies to watch was Miranda and Eliza could feel Phillipa's pain. They watched classics like Mulan, Aladdin, and the Lion King. Eventually Peggy noticed Eliza had fallen asleep with tears still dripping down her face. She turned off the tv and opened up her phone to the notes app. Now it was time to plan John Andre's funeral and the first thing to do was pay him a visit.
Back at the apartment John had his fun with his lover until he realized he made a huge mistake. Now he was never gonna get his money and get the wrath of the Schuyler sisters. No one survives the wrath of the Schyler sisters.
