Ravenclaw Princess and The Slytherin Royalty

My first day

I never knew there was such thing as a wizard world. I'm late to the magic world. I've been hidden away for three years. My mother never told me about it, maybe because she's a muggle. My father, who I never met, is a wizard. Apparently a really good one. I brushed my long blonde hair, got ready, and headed on my way. This man Hagrid is taking me to show me around. I have noticed weird things would happen growing up and I never understood them until now. One time, I made my cat explode. I thought he was just sick, turns out it was just me.

"Are you ready?" Hagrid asked, grabbing my suit cases. "I'm ready", I say nervously. "I never got your name?". "My name is Lauren, but I prefer to be called Laurie". "Well Laurie, we better get going".

We arrived at Hogwarts. It was bigger then I ever imagined. Beautifully constructed, I wondered how they did it. Magic, I suppose. We walked into the large dining hall, everyone was staring at me. I recognized Harry Potter from across the way. Hagrid told me all about him, the boy who lived. I took a seat at the stool, where the sorting hat was. I don't even know what houses mean, but apparently they place you by what your personality says about you. There's four of them. Griffyndor, Hufflepuf, Racenclaw, and Slytherin.

"Awe yes, Creative, full of wisdom, but otherwise competitive. You also have ambition and cunningness" the hat said. "You'd make a wonderful Slytherin, but Ravenclaw it is".

I walked away from the hat, and met Dumbledor, a very nice man, and Snape, a rather strict, cold man.

"Hi, I'm Luna, this is Hermoine, Ron, and Harry". "Hi, it's a pleasure meeting you, are you guys going to help me with my magic? I don't know anything" I said laughing. They all agreed to help me.

"Who's your father?", Ron said. "Ron, don't scare the girl on her first day" Hermoine said to him hitting him with his bag. "It's okay, umm.. apparently his name is Tom Marvolo Riddle"...

Everyone stopped and stared at me crazy. "How come you're not slytherin?" A tall blonde boy said from across the way. "What?" I said confused. As I don't even really know who this man is. "He's Lord Vodlemort", "everyone is afraid of him", "he's evil" Harry, Ron, and Hermoine jumped in saying.

"I've never met him, I've only seen pictures. I don't even know who he is". "He's a powerful dark wizard and has been trying to take over the wizard world", Draco said. "I can take you to meet him".

I agreed, so I went with Draco, who was very handsome, but seemed to have some sort of a cold shoulder. I wonder what my father is like.
