My name is Alice Seto, neice of the head of Seto mermaids. My dad passed away a year ago, and today I turn 15. My uncle took me in since then. My mom and dad could never be, for he was a merman and she a... A weapon, much like how humans and mermaids cant even be friends. That changed last year though, when my cousin, Sun Seto, was engaged to one of them.
Can you believe it? My little cousin is getting married before me and to a human! Well, not so little, we're only a year apart. Anyway, my uncle has somthing planned for me. I started swimming towards the shore to observe the humans, this whole week they have spring break. The ones I saw didn't look Japanese, so I assumed they were from America.
There was a girl with 2 ponytails, maybe 2 years younger than me, playing and splashing water at a boy,about my age, with white hair. There is a huge rock by the shore and I swam to it, only to hear distant yelling, I looked up. I could make out some words. "I... Star.... Almighty..." The boy shouted on top. He had blue hair that was spiked and I could make out two people walking behind him. I could care less about humans, so I dove under. I swam towards the rock because something caught my eye. As I got closer it turned out to be my imagination. Boosh. I turned around to see a... Boy.
He was very pale, thin, and tall... He also had... Pink hair. He was sinking under. Hey, he's kinda cute... Stop that! Mermaids and humans don't mix...
Crap, he's human, he can't breathe under water. I quickly swam to him. Wait... If I don't save him, he'll die... If I do, I'll die... Or... I'll have to marry him...
