Jamie, Jane, and Kyle were riding the bus home to Jamie's house.
Jamie and Kyle were dating and Jane was there friend.
They drove down a long, bumpy road that soon lead to her house, and they got off.
Jamie walked in the front door first yelling her mom's name to see if she was home.
No response. At work.
She turned to her right and showed the two others to the kitchen towards the little mini bar type thing they had.
She sat them down on two chairs on the other side of the counter. She walked to the fridge and pulled out three Cokes and slid them to the others.
"So..." Jamie said trying to start a conversation
Quickly Jane's face light up like a light that got a fresh lightbulb.
"We could do the Almond Crumble challenge!" she didn't give us time to think before she started spinning to the cupboards and all around the kitchen looking for something to make it.
"Um, Hello..." Jamie pointed at herself. "Peanut allergy here."
Jamie was diagnosed with a peanut allergy in 1st grade and takes extreme precautions.
"Yah, i'm not have anything around Jamie that could hurt or possibly kill her," Kyle wrapped his arm Jamie and kept a stern look.
"And what is this challenge anyway?" he added.
"It's where you make Almond Crumble, like into a sticky ball, and see how many you can fit into your mouth. Basically the chubby bunny challenge but with Almond Crumble," she said the whole thing like it was obvious.
She was rummaging through the cupboard on the top shelf, then she slowly pulled out a bag of almonds.
Jamie looked surprised a little, she didn't even know those where up there.
"And besides me and Kyle will do it, you don't have to if you're scared," Jane said, the last bit in a sarcastic tone.
Jamie sighed. "Jane...i CAN'T eat it," she said hand gestures in motion.
Jane just ignored her, found the last thing she needed, and started making them.
Jamie and Kyle sat in the chairs now sort of nervously.
"Hey, me and Jane will wash our hands later and i'll rinse my mouth out in case we...kiss later," Kyle explained, showing he cared, way more then Jane would ever show.
Jamie nodded and smiled, those words making her feel better.

Minutes later, Jane plopped Almond Crumble onto 3 plates and slid one to each of the others.
Kyle took Jamie's and slid it back to Jane.
"Wow you really don't listen do you?" Kyle said shaking his head, his eyes squinting at her almost in disgust.
She rolled her eyes and said," If you change your mind just ask for me to get you one."
I crossed my arms and let my mind wander to other places and began fiddling with a strand of my brown hair.
I turned back to the other starting with the little blobs of Almond on there plate, and then going for the stack of them on the plate in the middle.
I hated this.
I FAILED!! SHOULD I CONTINUE?! CUZ I PLANNED ON MORE!
