[Chapter 6] On a Mission.

Gon had sat on his bed mere minutes ago, but now, it felt like hours had passed.

"You're trying to tell me that this whole time," he gripped his bedsheets, mixed emotions overtaking reason. "That Killua isn't gone? He's in a different dimension? Are you sure??"

Kurapika, who was sitting properly at the end of Gon's bed, hesitantly nodded. Gon's heart practically shattered. He sunk into his bed even more, pulling his knees into his chest. So that's where Killua was? He really wasn't dead?

After mumbling his never ending questions to himself, finally stopping, he snapped his head up quickly. Kurapika waited as silent and patient as ever, thank god.

"Kurapika... where's Alluka then?"

Kurapika looked back up at Gon before whispering, "She's safe - we found her the other day. She told us that she went to a different dimension too... but not the one Killua's in. She's so sure of it, but doesn't have proof yet." He laughed awkwardly and continued, "It's not much, and we can't confirm if it's the truth or not, but it's the best we have. Alluka's set on bringing him back as well."

Gon nodded rapidly and Kurapika continued.

"Alluka said that she sometimes has visions of where her brother is, even though when she does, Killua is um..." A confused look briefly flashed on his face before he quickly said, "Well, she claims that Killua looks like he might be crossdressing. It's skeptical, and not to mention out of character for him, but it's all we have to go off of right now.. The world she says he's stuck in, it's different. Most of the people there are normal civilians, and there are some odd looking people. They appear to look like Chimera ants." At that comment, Gon tensed up. Kurapika glanced at him, but briskly moved on.

Kurapika hesitantly placed his hand on top of Gon's, causing Gon to blink in surprise. "Cheadle did tell me to let you know that she has assigned Leorio, you and I to take on the mission of going to find Killua. We'll be using on of Nanika's wishes to do so. If you accept, well;  Cheadle can explain more to you about the mission at the Hunter Committee Building in York New." Taking this all in, Gon retracted his hand back and held it tightly to his chest. He was shaking. This was much more to take in then he had expected from today. Mentally, he was still processing that Killua was, in fact, alive. He was alive.

Finally remembering that breathing was mandatory, Gon stood up from his bed and faced a stern faced Kurapika.

Determination clear in his eyes, he held out his hand as Kurapika stood up. He needed Killua in my life- No. He wanted Killua in his life. A realization made long ago, yet he was certain. Killua is his best friend, and he'd do anything to keep it that way. He'd do anything for him.

"Let's get going, then." Gon said confidently.

Kurapika smiled, gripping onto Gon's outstretched hand, and said in response, "I shouldve seen that coming. Now come on, Cheadle said we had to be there by ten."

Leorio was already waiting at the building, so after Gon and Kurapika got off the blimp, they headed straight for the meetup place- The Hunter's Committee building.

As soon as they were all present, they caught up. They talked for a good twenty minutes on what they were doing now that they were separated; How they've been. Mainly about what they started doing now that it's been 2 and a half years since they last talked.

The door slammed open, causing the trio to glance at the entrance. A familiar face stood beaming.

Gon's eyes widened, and Leorio and Kurapika glancing at eachother.
