A King's War (Excerpt Only)

Description/Author's Note

Okay, so this story is a lot different than what I usually write. I'd actually had the idea for this book in my head for a long time now but never wrote it as I was always busy with the Agent series and didn't really have a reason to write it as the fantasy genre is a bit out of my comfort zone when it comes to writing. But then one of the apps that I have my works on said that they were going to be doing a contest for the fantasy genre, and I figured that was as good a reason as any to give it a try. The results were this book. I was lucky enough to get it signed exclusively to the app, so that does mean that unfortunately, I will not be posting the full story here. This is just an excerpt of the first five chapters. The book, A King's War is available via the app Ringdom or Dreame.

Another war is on the horizon.

The Ruthless King has conquered many kingdoms and declared war upon the world. Using magic and power that no one can defend against, he's built his empire on the blood of the innocent that stood in his way.

He goes by Ver. He was the crown prince before his kingdom fell and his parents were killed by the Ruthless King. Now he's the rightful king, forced to live in the shadows of his own kingdom until he can retake the throne.

She goes by Raven. She is an outlaw. Living in The Outskirts and staying out of the war, she travels through the places no one dares to go and knows the secrets of the creatures that live there.

When his brother is captured and being taken to the Ruthless King, Ver will stop at nothing to save him. With the help of his friends, he sets out to save his brother and take back his kingdom. 

In order to do so, he needs Raven's help. Without her, he can't hope to succeed. But Raven is adamant about staying out of the war and has all but turned her back on the rest of the world.

He needs her help to save his brother and take back his kingdom. She needs his help to remind her of what she once fought for. Together they can help each other, but not without igniting A King's War for his kingdom.

This is only an excerpt because this book is signed under an exclusive contract with Ringdom/Dreame and therefore will not be posted in it's entirety anywhere else. I am not allowed to post the full story here or anywhere else as that would be a breach of my contract. But, I was given permission to post the first five chapters here for anyone to read, so that they can decide whether or not they want to continue on and read the full story.

Yes. This is a COMPLETED story.  This book is completed on the apps of Ringdom or Dreame. There is no waiting for updates. The book is 43 chapters long.

This story was at one point free to read, but unfortunately (as it gained some popularity) it is no longer. I do not know exactly how much it is to read the book, as the apps are based off some sort of coin system, but the first ten or so chapters are free to read, after that coins need to be paid to continue on reading the story should you decide you enjoy it. The choice of whether or not read it is completely up to you.

Feel free to leave comments on errors I may have made that I was not aware of when I posted the chapter.

I do not appreciate rude or offensive comments about my book, me, or any of the other users commenting on the story. If you do not like the book, that is your opinion and I do not have problem with it, however I do not need to aware of it. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. If you do not like the story, again it is your opinion and I've got nothing against it, just stop reading it instead of making rude or offensive comments.

This story is Copyrighted and it belongs to me. If there is in fact another book out there that is similar or has the same story line then I do apologize. I can't read every story though I have read a lot and I try my best to make sure my story is vastly different from anything I've read. If there is another story similar, feel free to message me about it. As I said before, this story belongs to me so do not copy it.

Also, please refrain from advertising other books on here. I realize that a lot of you are just trying to get your books out there, to get them noticed, and I do not have a problem with you advertising your stories if you ask me first. But it is kind of rude to just put your story up in mine, as it does take away from my story. I realize that no one's trying to be rude, but please just ask my permission before you advertise another story. The comments will be deleted unless I have given you my permission.

And yes, I realize I'm way behind on updating my other books. My college classes have been really difficult this semester. I'm working on getting updates done. Sorry for the wait.
