You know, that kid that clings to you? You're their friend, but they are always in your space. They're polite only to you and treat everyone like someone who's trying to steal "their" significant other. They call you "babe" and "darling" and they may tell others that you're.... you're... DATING!!! How horrible. They are the one that you're trying to get away from and surround yourself with friends (who don't like them) so that they can't get to you. Well, obviously, they are not getting the hint you've been giving them, but you don't want to put them down harshly.
~~~Just FYI....get a restraining order against them if they actually do this to you. I had a guy do this to me for 2 years. I kinda got rid of him because he graduated. And I am cutting off ALL of our connections - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. EVERYTHING!!! *whew* Put him/her down as politely as you can...or go harsh on him. I don't care.
