Let There Be No Words Unspoken

We never know how long we have
Our time limited
And whatever time we do get
Still seems too short
We feel torn away from those we leave behind.
And if right now is the last time i ever see you
If these are the last words i speak to you
Let there be no words unspoken
Let all my thoughts flow like a river
My heart wide open.
I hope I've told you enough
How much I love you
How I wish we could've made more memories
I hope we never have to say goodbye
and saying I don't miss you
That would be such a big lie.
We still had so much to do
So much of the world to conquer and explore
So many plans now forever lost
Your missing presence like an icy frost.
You will always have a piece of my heart
And if I don't get the opportunity to say so
I want to say Thank you.
Thank you for enriching my life
For filling if with your laughs and mine
Mixed into one
Making the sweetest melody I've ever heard,
For all your sweet messages
Scribbled on pieces of paper
That I still have tucked away in my drawer.
Just know I wouldn't want you to be sad
That I wouldn't want you hung up on the
'what if's',
But i need you to know
You'll always have a piece of my heart
The one that's made just for you
No matter where you are
That's yours forever.

Hey Guys!

I wrote this poem because of all the loss that a lot of people are going through during these times.

We need to remember to tell everyone around us that we love them. We never know when the moments you spend will them will be the last.

Just live your life full of love and happiness. Hope all you guys are doing well!
