The Vet

Y/N POV

When daddy Tyler and daddy Craig picked me up, they had a puppy in the car! They said we had to go to the vet because they don't think the puppy is feeling well. They say I can hold the puppy when its feeling better, so I'm really excited! "Yeah, poor thing was just in the road!". Daddy Tyler was talking to someone on the phone. "Dont worry Luke! The vet bills will come out of my money!". Ooo! Daddy Tyler's talking to daddy Luke! We pulled up to a small building and parked. "Alright piglet. Leave your school stuff here so we can get this little guy some help." Daddy Tyler says. I do as told and leave my school stuff in the car before getting out. Daddy Tyler picked me up and Daddy Craig started walking to the building with the puppy in his hands. Daddy Tyler was close to follow after picking me up. Once we got in the building, I saw lots of big dogs, small dogs, some kitties and some less common pets, like birds and guinea pigs! Honestly, I would've loved to pet all the pretty animals, but I'm kinda tired, and I dont wanna be a disturbance. So I just waited with my dads. Soon enough I heard a lady say "Mr. Wine?" And daddy Tyler and Craig walked to the back with me and the puppy.

Tyler's POV

Once we walked to the back, the vet asked us questions. "Where'd you find the little guy?" "We were driving to pick our daughter up and found him on the road." "Hmm.. he to be malnourished. Any sign of a mother around?" "No." "Well then, let's get the little guy cleaned up first, then check him over some more, shall we?" She looked at Y/N, asking her. She just said 'Mhm.' and went back to looking at the dog, worry in her eyes. While the vet was bathing the puppy, Y/N asked if the puppy was gonna be alright. "Yeah we're pretty sure so far. She said it was malnourished, so as far as it's current state goes, I think all we'll need to do is feed it." I say. She looks at me with a smile and then goes back to the puppy. Which is fair I guess. I look back up and I was questioning what the hell just happened. 'That dog was so brown a second ago!'. Now the puppy was blonde, now giving me the idea it was a golden retriever. Well ok then. Doesnt change anything, little guy needs help. After about another minute, the vet walks up to us and says she thinks malnourishment might luckily be the only problem. And honestly, that's a relief, especially since malnourishment is an easily fixable problem. After a while she confirmed that the puppy's only problem was malnourishment. And also told us the puppy was a girl. "Do you wanna name her Y/N?" I asked, since I'm not very good with names. "I wanna name her Jess after my first friend from school!" She replied, shining brighter than the sun.
