saving grace

prologue .

if secrets can kill mine would slaughter .

my past isn't something I like to talk about nor it is something I'm proud of . I killed a man when I was only 16 years old . it was viewed as self defense but it was far from it I killed him with cold blood . one cut on his neck and a power full stab to his heart .

I remember that night like it was yesterday

I was nervous as fuck . the small knife was clutched tightly in my hand .
I waited and waited until the knob started to turn and my uncle walked threw the door for his nightly visit . he raped me every single night and blamed it on my looks . he said I was too pretty to resist that I had a part of Satan in me that seduced man and made them want me . I never believed him but I was too damaged to even protest any more too broken to tell anyone .
"well hello pretty eden " he slurred . he was drunk and I was more scared tonight then any other night .
he approached my bed looking at me like a predator stalking his prey .
he spotted the knife and said "well well well , little eden don't play with sharp objects they can cut you "
I didn't hesitate didn't even flinch as I sliced his throat .he clutched the cut as blood ran between his fingers . I didn't think twice as I plunged the same knife in his heart .
I just stared at his dying body . as he took his last breath he smiled and said "I..'ll... alwa....ys...hunt .. you " he died with the same twisted smile painted on his lips .

that little sad 16 year old turned into an emotionally detached 21 year old . I don't ever make eyes contact with people . I don't have friends never had a boyfriend . I'm a walking talking zombie .

I never thought I would ever live again but then a guy walked into my life and turned it upside down his name is harry .my own saving grace.
