                      Chapter one

                   ・Yukio's pov・

Today was just a normal day for me, I mean, I go to school at the Dark academy but it isn't that bad. Some people are mean and others aren't, it matters who you piss off and on what day.

I'm currently walking in the halls trying to find my best friend Hiroshi. He can be hard to find when he wants to be.

"BOO!" someone screamed behind me jumping onto me which caused me to scream. The person who had jumped on to be started wheezing "I- I can't- how did you- even get sacred?!" the person who I quickly recognized to be none other than Hiroshi himself.

"You literally snuck up on me! How else would I react!" I said trying to defend myself from looking more stupid. I now quickly pushed Hiroshi off of me and stood up brushing the dust off of me.

Hiroshi stood up and slightly looked up at me because I was taller than him mainly because I was 186cm and he was 176cm, it isn't too bad for a height difference though.

"We should get off to our class because we can't be late!" Hiroshi exclaimed, I don't really like the classes because most of them are boring to be in anyways.

I sighed because he would probably continue bothering me if I didn't go with him. So I started walking to the class with Hiroshi following close behind me.

I walked into the class I was supposed to be in and I quickly went to sit in the back because I didn't feel like having to like crane my neck for other people to have to look ahead of me because I was like the tallest in the class.

Hiroshi sat next to me to my dismay because he was probably gonna get me into trouble like he always does which isn't that great. I just looked forward at some of the people entering the classroom, I didn't really like most of the people in my class but there are a few that I can stand.

The rest of the students soon started to come into the classroom so the teacher started talking about some magic history or whatever, it isn't too important anyways.

Hiroshi's now trying to talk with me which I'm trying my best to ignore, soon he was getting bored but when I thought he was gonna quit, I was wrong.

"YUKIO JUST PINCHED ME!" Hiroshi yelled at the top of his lungs. Why me? Why does he have to get me in trouble.

The teacher looked over at me and Hiroshi looking really pissed. "Is this true, Yukio?" the teacher asked looking directly at me.

"I- uh- I didn't do it-" I said trying to speak and muster up the courage to but it was failing miserably.

"I don't believe you. Both of you have to have detention after school." the teacher said which actually made me really pissed off. Like seriously why would Hiroshi want to do this?

Soon class was over with and I went on with my other classes which were pretty much uneventful. So when I was let out from my last class I went straight to the classroom which detention is placed at. Sighing I walked into the classroom taking a seat, this is all stupid.

Hiroshi just got into the detention room. He was sitting down at a desk near me but not next to me. Soon the teacher that was watching us had to leave to do something.

"Hey, wanna sneak out into the forest behind the school?" Hiroshi whispered yelled to me. I turned to him slightly in disbelief of what he was saying. "Why would we do that?" I tried to reason.

"Because it's fun! Come on let's go!" Hiroshi said than went and grabbed my hand and ran out of the classroom and out of the school running really fast which was hard to keep up with. We soon got to the forest behind the school and walked into it.

                ・Mayako's pov・

Me and my friend Chiyo were currently just sitting on the grass behind the Light Academy because that's where we went to school.

"So do you think the class project will be hard or easy?" I asked trying to start a simple conversation.

"Hmmm, it should be pretty easy,,, not sure if it will be for others though" Chiyo said sorta quietly because she is soft spoken.

"Ah, okay." I said now there is awkward silence. I didn't really like this.

The silence was broken by some yelling of two boys from the distance probably two boys from the Dark Academy being stupid again. But what would it hurt to check it out? "Hey Chiyo, wanna check out the yelling?"

"Huh? Oh,,, sure, why not" Chiyo said with a soft smile.
