I loved you first

Chapter 2: We need a break from all of these

Joong stayed quiet all the way home. Still sulking over Nine teasing him about lying and how he tricked him again into eating spicy food. When they got in to the apartment Joong went straight away to his room. They both change into their clothes, after taking a shower.

Nine was sitting on Joong's chair while playing some game with his phone.

"Are you still sulking?" Nine asked him while his eyes are still glued to the device he was holding. Joong ignored him, pretended he didn't heard him at all.

"AH CRAP!" Nine cursed then he put his phone down on Joong's table. He jumped in the bed. Joong looked at him he was surprised by the sudden movement but continued to mind his own business.

"What are you sulking about na?" Nine sat next to him;

Joong laughed at what he was watching in his laptop.

Nine was starting to get annoyed by his silent treatment and Joong ignoring him made everything even more frustrating. 

He closed his laptop and put it away from him. "What is it P'?" Joong finally looked at him for a second and bring out his phone.

"What are you sulking about?" Nine turned his face towards him so they were facing each other. He took his phone from his hand.

"I am not sulking." he avoided his eyes;

"Then why can't you look at me in the eyes?" Nine asked

"I'm still finishing this." he held the serum right into Nine's face so he could see it clearly, yes Joong can multitask, he was watching in his laptop while doing his skin care routine.

"Fine!" Nine stood up and was heading towards the door about to leave his room.

"Fine!" Joong said just the right level of tone just right before Nine closes his door. Nine walked out of the room more annoyed than earlier. Nine walked in the kitchen area and started making food. When he got finished he went back at Joong's room and found him sitting on his chair in front of his laptop. 

Nine gave him a bowl of food and put it right in front of him. Joong looked at his P'.

"Stop sulking na~" he said to him. Nine patted his head and sat at his bed side. Joong turned around to look at his P'.

"You're always teasing me." he pouted

"I know, stop sulking already." Nine smiled at him, he ruffled his hair. "Go eat it while it's still hot." Nine urged him to eat his food.

Joong finally smiled and started eating the food Nine prepared for him.

"We're good, okay? I'll sleep, I'm so tired." Nine headed towards the door.

"Good night P' Nine." he looked at him

"Good night, sleep already you have a busy day tomorrow." said Nine before he shut the door close.

The next day went by fast, Joong is now doing his project at one of his friends house. They are currently working on a paper that has already been revised for so many times already they've lost count.

Love and Joong are both working on their laptops the others are brainstorming for the rest part of the project.

After a few hours Joong stood up. "I'll go get some snacks";

"Wait! I'll come with you." Love stood up and grabbed her purse. When they arrived at the convenience store, they went straight ahead looking for snacks. "By the way, Joong it will be my birthday on the weekend. I'll throw a small party, everybody else already said yes. Would you like to come?" Love wasn't looking at Joong when she said all of that to him.

"Yeah sure, why not? We need a break from all of these-" Joong gestured with his hands a handful of chaotic gestures to visualize his struggles with their project. Then smiled at her.

She smiled at him and walked a little too fast towards the cashier.

They arrived back at his friend's house and continued working  with their parts and all of them barely slept.

The morning came and it was the day of their presentation. They feel nervous but at the same time proud because they know they put effort in what they did. With all the revisions and drafts, amount of time they put into the paperwork. Finally it was over . They took a group photo and Love posted it in her ig. Joong and everybody else shared it in their ig stories.

When Joong arrived after a long day, he felt fulfilled there's nothing more satisfying than to give your best and have a great outcome from it. Nine was not in their apartment, but after a few moments he arrived with take outs in his hands. Joong helped him with the food and Nine settled in. "Wow!" he smiled at Joong and shook his head "okay hello to you too." Joong flashed him his charming smile and prepared the food.

Nine changed back to his clothes, they both sat down and Joong started telling his P' what happened to him and they shared the food with each other while laughing and talking.
