it was just too good to be real

Today started out like any other day, fight glitches, face foes, and ramp up on ex p. Or... it was until someone op-ed blaze lion from flunky catchers appeared out of nowhere, but something was off about this particular glitch its more frightening and somewhat corrupted, and seems to be only targeting miko.
"Five! Five!, wakeup please... please be okay" miko pleaded, trying to revive her boyfriend hoping for some signs of life, when nothing came and the glitch heading straight towards them, suddenly everything went black.

where did it all go wrong you asked? well we should start at the beginning, earlier that day it felt like any other day. miko and five were on store duty when they were asked to investigate some pretty mysterious glitch activity, the staff was starched out pretty thine at the time so they where the only one's available. phill called them in for debriefing on the situation. "for some strange reason there has been some random glitch activity, going on just out side the mall" phill explained, "so... is that why you asked us" five ask. "right now you're the only remaining techs on the job" phill said he continued "so far every tech I sent to investigate disappear on the radar and that's where you two come in, go find out what's been caucusing this and put a stop to it" phill said. both miko and five acknowledge the order, and were headed off to the location in question.

once they arrived to what look's like an old abandoned arcade, which probably belonged to the mall before joystick 'Jr opened.it look to be about twenty years old, with empty husk of old arcade games dating back to five's dad time when he was young. "this place feel's eerie how come no body noticed it" miko said in a creeped out tone, "I don't know miko but right now all we have to do is catch the glitch, find and rescue the other's and get out" five said. he continued "now come on this place look's like it's about to fall apart any minute", "roger that" miko replied as they scout the halls of this dessalent place, a silent figure stalks them from the shadows. like a deadly predator closing in on it's prey.

there was a beat, and before they knew it they knew it they where jumped by a what look's to be a corrupted version of a flunky character a blaze, but different it's graphics were distorted and along with that it had a completely different color scheme mostly purples and green a far cry from it's red and yellow color scheme. this glitch didn't just look different it acted differently almost like it was thinking for it's self, not only was it acting out side it's base programing it was learning and countering every move five and miko could make, and it seems to have it's sights set on miko in particular. out breath and out of option's there only course of action was to run, hide and catch their breath, once they found refuge in an old storage closet they try to think of plan to beat this beast. "what's the deal... ah with that thing,... ah it's like... it could ah think... for it's self" miko panted, "your... right...that's no ordinary glitch" five said almost breathless.

"what do we do now! we're out of ammo, out of options and out places to hide!" miko exclaimed, wait I got- five was abruptly cut off when the glitch's paw punched it's way through the wall, garbing five and throwing him across the room rendering him unconscious. "five no!" miko yelled, miko rushed in to try and help him only to be blocked, by the glitch as it continued it's pursuit on miko. when the glitch swiped left miko saw an opening and with what little power remains in her gauntlets energy she shoot's it's week spot, only missing it by a margin which was bad because that meant she was out of power as well. the glitch was held a back by it this gave miko the chance to get to five which leaves us to where we are now.

"no where to run, i have you now" unknown a mysterious voice was herd, not much of a whisper. miko noticed right away was it a coming from the speakers or a com link no, it was coming from the glitch.! "there's no escape for you now, Polybius" unknown, absolute fear and terror was clear on mikos face, as the glitch stared her down then she looked back at fives uncurious body and then... blank.
But once she came she was greeted not by smiles or cheers, rather horrified looks and shocked faces of disbelief. She searched he surroundings to see that all the other techs safe and sound and in one peace but all eyes were on miko, she scans the room again only to five with a worried yet fearful look on his face as he's being helped by bergy and hannish. "Five you're okay" miko joyful in a happy tone, suddenly the other techs blocked fives advances to miko surrounding her in the process.
