2: Collide

Kagami Taiga was about to run up the stair case in order to get to his classroom because unfortunately he had left his basketball practice bag there. As he was about make his way up the stairs, he notices someone walking down the steps with two boxes that covers their torso and face.

The person miscalculated the next step, that they began to fall, "Oh No! Ahhhh!"

Kagami quickly catches the person falling. He trampled backwards and fell on his back on the floor.

"Ow!" Kagami yells as he hears a girl voice grunting on top of him. He begins to blush because her chest is pressing against him.

You were grunting from the fall. You were surprise to have fallen on something soft, rather than the painful concrete. You sad up while holding onto your head. You asked yourself, "Ah, What happened?"

You open your eyes to see that a red haired guy with scarlet emerald eyes looking straight at me.

Kagami was astonished to see the beautiful pink eyes staring at him. He had never seen these types of eyes before. He was hopelessly had been captivated by them.

It felt like forever staring into those gorgeous eyes, he didn't want her to think him as a weirdo for staring at her without saying anything, "Hey, you ok?"

You hear him ask you if you were ok, "Ah, Yes I am...I...ah..."

You began to realize that you were on top of him. To be more accurately, you were sitting on top of his waist, "Kyaaaa!"

You screamed while your face was beet red. You jumped off him, "I am so Sorry! I didn't mean to, ah, I ah."

Kagami stood up with a slight pink hue plastered on his cheeks, "Its OK, here let me help you."

He offered you his hand. You took it and helped you get off the hallway floor. You brushed your hair behind your ear as a bashful gesture, "Ah, Thank you saving me from my fall."

"Your welcome, ah..."

You smiled, "Emiko...Emiko Inoue. Nice to meet you Kagami."

He was shocked, "How did you know who i am?"

You couldn't help but giggle, "Its right on your gym jacket."

He scratched his head because he felt embarrassed for looking like a fool, "I'm just glad i was there to help though....But I gotta ask why were you carry those boxes by yourself? Don't you know that carrying those big boxes all by yourself is dangerous, especially going through the stairs?"

You laughed uneasy while scratching your cheek, "Hahaha I know but you see I am by myself on cleaning duty today. So there wasn't anyone around to help me."

Kagami cocked up his eyebrow, "What? Isn't cleaning the classroom supposed to be in pairs or something to do such thing?"

You nodded, "Yeah, but you see they had an emergency at home. I told them I could do it by myself."

"Hmm, I see. Well let me help you carry both the boxes then," Kagami says as he began to pick up the boxes.

"Huh? Ah Wait! You cant carry both boxes. Let me help you with one. Their heavy." You say before you were amazed to see that he carried them without any problem.

"Nah! Its ok. I don't want you to tumble over the stairs again." He says with a smile.

You pouted which makes him chuckle, "All I am saying I don't want you to get hurt. So where do you need to move these boxes to?"

You sighed knowing that he isn't gonna budge. So you accepted his assistance. You inform him that the boxes needed to be in storage. As you and Kagami make your way to the storage room, you figured out the reason he was able to come to your rescue was because he was going to get his gym bag for his basketball practice.

After Kagami helped you store the boxes where they supposed to be, you smiled at him, "Thank you,Kagami."

"Your welcome, Emiko."

"Say Kagami, you don't mind if I made you a Benito lunch for you tomorrow?" You asked wanting to show your appreciation for helping you today.

"Ah no I don't mind if you do, but you don't really have to, Emiko."

You shook your head, "I want to, Kagami. I am grateful for all you've done for me today."

"Well I guess it can't be help then," he says with a smile that was short lived. Riko yells at him from far away from you guys. It sent chills down Kagami's thick spine.

"I'm sorry, Emiko. I gotta go. Bye!"

With that said, he was gone in a flash. You couldn't help but smile.
