Staggering your feet through the bare alleyway you let out a sigh of relief finally seeing the red neon lights coming into view after you had just entered the wrong alley three times
for reasons unknown the club was a nightmare to find but that's what they wanted it
the bright captivating font stares back at you as you stand in front of it

your eyes briefly look up at the dull sky full of grey clouds knowing that the streets would be full of rain drops by the time your shift is done
closing your eyes you take a deep breath in before entering the door
it sure did not look as expensive as you thought but

you're met with a parade of stairs going downwards leading to another door
your small hands push the second door open to be met with the most beautiful view you've ever seen
the red lights pierce through the entire room causing your lips to form an 'O' in awe

from the corner of your eye you see a man entering the club from a back door with a clip board in hand, he's too immersed in whatever he's writing to notice your presence
"the club isn't open yet you'll need to come back in an hour"
your tongue runs across your lips habitually, ever so delicately as you stare at the enchanting man in front of you
he chuckles dryly thinking you were a stubborn customer
it wouldn't be the first time he dealt with a woman coming back to the club, demanding why she hadn't gotten a call back after sleeping with one of the staff members
placing his clipboard down on the bar he turns around to you
his eyes bore into yours not expecting the view in front of him
