Ashima , Drake's border village

Clang! Clang! Clang! Swish

Swish! Clang! Swish

"Ha! Ha! Ha! You haven't gotten any better than before , Kima"

"Despite being such rotten claw , you still hold the ground, Sergeant Jiwan"

"I am old but not weaker than you soft claws, this old drake still has strength to take a good beat"

Swish! Thunk! Swosh! Clang!

"ENOUGH!!! TWO OF YOU, Human are coming"

"How many of em coming? Watcher Olisos?"- Jiwan frowned

"More than 200"

"With 50 of us here, guarding this border along with unarmed villagers, we should be able to hold em off"- Kima's overconfidence

"They are coming toward us and they are hold white banners with red cross "-Olisos reported

"Could it be those recently dangerous undead roaming around this ground?"-Kima asked

"Even so, we drake can burn them down to dust and ashes"-Jiwan replied with overthinking

"Perhaps there is an ancient lich around here, recently, our scout Yagon hasn't returned since last week"-Olisos worried

"That risking clown, he could be looking for something funny or chasing female elves around"- Kima angered

"Even so, there should be a complain for us from elven village Carilen"-Olisos concerned

"Hey those giant lizards, a lich has turned one of your guards into a walking corpse"- a human rudely cried

"How dare you called us great drakes into low life creature?"-Kima raising the spear

"Kima, hold your anger"-Jiwan frowned

"Yes, sir"-Kima was still angry about the human's words

"I , Jiwan, the sergeant of this group of border guards, who are you, human?"

"I, Fanco, the knight of Nortus, the top of the Sword division knight, I apologize for the behavior of my right hand man, He maybe rude but he was trying to tell you about the lich we have found near the cave and now coming underneath your post"

"WHAT?"-Entire drake outpost shouted

Suddenly a loud earth collapse can be heard from the middle of the village. Many drake villagers tried to fly away, those who could fly carried the hatchlings and eggs, those who were carrying tools stayed on guard.

From the ground, skeletons submerged, walking corpses crept out and ghouls crawled.

In the mist of dirt, a lich was riding on a skeleton horse with cloak, rings and a staff. The staff is made of bones with a skull and it has tattered cloth hanging on top of the skull. A menace laugh can be heard.

The undead were facing unshakable-willed warriors. But eventually, the stamina of those warriors was depleting.

"A surprise attack?"-Jiwan asked

"Yes, they expected you to be unaware of earth attack in order to gain an army to wipe us both"-Fanco worried

"Kima !!!"-Jiwan yelled

"Yes?"-Kima replied

"We are going to hold them off with the humans here, you lead the new recruits to our capital. Warn them! Do not come back here!"
