The coronavirus also known as covid-19 has spread rapidly across the country. it touches,creating devastating social,economic and political crisis that will leave a deep scar in the heart of everyone who witnessed it.
It is an airborne disease which can be spread rapidly. it has symptoms such as;coughing,sore throat,sneezing and bodypain.
As part of the efforts to curtail the covid-19 pandemic,the federal government ordered a lockdown on some states in the country.however, locking people down at home in the nigeria context is like asking people to go hungry for the duration of the lockdown because most people depend on menial jobs for survival.
It can be prevented by ;washing of hands, keeping 2m distance away from others,avoid crowded places like markerts,churches e.t.c always wear your face masks.
The truth is that covid-19 is not a death sentence.
if we nigerians can stay safe and follow all necessary advise given to us by the government, we can fight covid-19 together.
