"So that room over there will be yours, and I'll take the one down the hall. Is that ok with you?"

Jungkook nodded, flustered by the male in front of him that he was expected to be sharing a dorm room with for the next year.

------------------

Jungkook was in his third year of photography. He absolutely loved it. When he got to immortalize things through the shutter of his camera, it gave him a sense of power. People always said that Jungkook had an eye for beauty, and while he denied the praise, he certainly felt that he could appreciate the beauty in things.

So when his third rolled around and his dad told him he had to stay in the dorms, he was less than impressed. Due to some financial difficulties at home, he had to give up his bachelor apartment and move back into the university dorms. He was quite unhappy about losing his safe space, but remembering the tired look in his mom's eyes as she counted the bills caused him to keep quiet and accept things as they were.

The new school year would be starting in a week, and the university sent out a notification that dorms were open to move into today. Jungkook was not one to leave things to the last minute, and so he packed all this things into his car the days prior, the rest of his furniture that he couldn't bring with went back to his parents' home, and he gave up the key to his apartment. He would miss his strange neighbor, an old lady with a sweet face.

He looked at his car, stacked with boxes, more still waiting for him at his parents' home, and sighed. He didn't think he was ready for this, but nonetheless, made his way to the dorms.

Because Jungkook was in his final year before honors, he managed to snag a spot in a quieter, nicer dorm that was not on campus, but not too far away either. It usually housed post graduate students, or students in their honor years, but because of Jungkook's pristine record, he was exempted to stay there as well. The building was large and modern,  with at least ten floors from what Jungkook could see from the outside. It has a sleek entrance, looking almost like those high-end buildings in downtown Seoul.

Unfortunately, while he was lucky to be assigned to a great dorm, he was unfortunately paired with another student to room with. He was particularly fond of his privacy and personal space, but figured that he would get a job and save up some money to be on his own again the following year. After all, he could have been assigned a dingy, shitty dorm like the ones located on campus, so he supposed beggars can't be choosers.

Jungkook thought himself a highly adaptable person, so staying in a dorm with another person wouldn't be an issue if they got along and he wasn't a messy person. He assumed they were either in honors or post grad, so he took comfort in the small hope that perhaps they were serious about life and weren't rowdy, loud and perpetually drunk like most university students in dorms seemed to be.

He entered the dorms and made his way to the front office desk to get his assigned room and key with a spare, a young, male receptionist telling him about the rules of the building, where the common areas were, how to dispose of trash and where to find the laundry room.  The dorm had no curfew, for which Jungkook was pleased, and there wasn't a visitor limit as long as they were signed in at the front desk.

When Jungkook made his was to the elevator, he was mixed with a sense of excitement and dread. He was excited to be staying on the seventh floor, the possibilities for taking photographs of the view making him smile, but the dread of meeting his roommate was causing his hands to sweat.

When he stood in front of room 753, he was met with the door being slightly ajar. He pushed the door open and immediately saw the boxes piled in the entrance way, stacked impossibly high. He assumed his roommate had just gotten there too, judging from the way that nothing had been opened and everything in the dorm was still bare.

Jungkook stepped into the room, taking in the space. Dorm was not really the right word to describe the living space. It was almost like a small self-catering apartment. To the left of the entrance was a small kitchen, with a stove, microwave, mid-sized fridge and oven. There was a breakfast nook which overlooked the sitting room, a small two-seater couch and coffee table in the center. There was a sliding door which went out to what Jungkook assumed was the balcony, considering they were on the 7th floor. On the left of the sitting room, was a closed door and to the right was a hallway with two doors at the end. Jungkook assumed they were the bedrooms and the bathroom.

As he set his bag, keys and phone on the breakfast nook, the sound of a flushing toilet and door opening caused Jungkook to turn around and look down the hallway. A dark-haired figure exited the bathroom, wiping his hands down on his ripped jeans, head tilted down.

Jungkook cleared his throat, causing the male to snap his head up.

And to say Jungkook's breath was taken away would be an understatement. Before him stood a slightly shorter male, with pitch black hair that sat atop his head messily. He was wearing a black, short-sleeved button up, and black distressed jeans, holes large enough to give Jungkook a glimpse of the heavy-set thighs that rested in them. He had dark eyes, with a dark look in them, a small, sharp nose and the plumpest, pinkest lips Jungkook has ever seen on a male. He had multiple piercings in his ears, hoops and chains dangling from them as he moved closer to Jungkook. The dark eyeshadow that accentuated his eyes seemed to almost glitter as he stepped out into the light shining in from the balcony.

He was beautiful. More beautiful than any other male Jungkook had ever seen. He was soft and hard all at the same time.

A heady combination. Especially for a very gay Jungkook. And while Jungkook had never explored any aspect of his sexuality with another person, he could safely say that this man before him definitely confirmed that Jungkook liked men.

"Hi, you must be my new roommate. I'm Park Jimin, you can just call me Jimin." The male said, extending a hand out to Jungkook. He had a smile on his face, but he had a dark look in his eye. Jungkook could feel the sex appeal rolling off his body in waves, threatening to sweep him away with the current.

"Jeon Jungkook. You can call me Jungkook." He played things cool, taking the hand of his roommate in his own. But, the second their hands touched, Jungkook's body felt like it was set on fire. The sensation was odd. At first, it left like he was dipping his hand into cold water, the sensation slowly creeping up his skin, until, it changed and he felt like his body was being engulfed in flame.  Desire instantly pooled in his stomach, the familiar coiling sensation in his abdomen, and he could feel blood rushing to his dick, painful in the way he strained against the fabric of his tight pants. The sensation was instantaneous, euphoric almost. His head felt fuzzy, like he was experiencing the effect of some kind of drug.

And it was all gone the second Jimin pulled his hand away. His head instantly cleared, the sensations of lust and desire for sex just vanished. He was utterly confused about what just happened. The images that flashes through his mind of satiating his deepest sexual urges with the male in front of him, completely intrusive and unwarranted, gone.

Jimin's eyes were opened a fraction wider, a look of shock or disbelief settling in his obsidian eyes. He sported small, tight- lipped, smile on his face.

"So that room over there will be yours, and I'll take the one down the hall. Is that ok with you?"

Jungkook nodded, a complete and flustered mess by the male in front of him that he was expected to be sharing a dorm room with for the next year.
