CHAPTER TWO
The rest of the day flew by fast french and english were my easiest classes. I'd always been good with language and writing concepts, just not spelling that area just wasnt ment for me to master.
I met with Rachel by the bike rack towards the front of the school. She seemed a bit cocky her and Adam must have seen each other lately. I was happy for her and Adam they loved each other but i hated how they always pushed John on me. I know they are only trying to help but i didn't want a boyfriend. I knew i'd find someone, the one, but until then i didnt need a substitute.
"Hey there stanger." Rachel smiled and we took off towards my house, just down the way a few streets.
I walked up to the familiar blue house a green yard a giant weeping willow tree stood proudly in the middle and a marble bench encircling it, white blooming rose bushes lined the drive way where the three family cars were parked a red lancer, a white galant and my blue eclipes. what could i say we were a mitshubishi family. i used my key to unlock the door, i walked to my room. a plain square, with navy blue walls and an entrancing desin on one wall and a giant portrait framing the main wall. I grab cloths and essentials, my favorite silk pajamas were waiting in the closet i grabbed my moccasins a pair of clean jeans and a t-shirt, makeup, a brush toothbrush, deoderant and spray then headed to the kitchen were i expected Rachel would be stuffing her face.
"you always have the best junk food." she exclaimed throwing a chocolate suzy-Q down her throat. "i have no clue how you stay so skinny. I wouldnt be if i lived here." i guess she hadnt seen our gym in a while or just wouldnt use it if she had. I laughed at the tought.
"are you ready?" i asked grabbing an apple.
"yes. you are so boring an apple? when you have practically all thirty one Basking Robbins flavors in your freezer?" she said exaggerating as always. she was such a drama queen, she should look into becoming an actress.
"yeah. you'd think after a year together some of my good habits would rub off on you but no, of course not."
"naturally." she smiled
We arrived at her house about thirty minutes later a small yellow bungalow with a white fence and a few cherry blossom trees. We went to her room, a pink room with flowers and a canopy bed childish but it was one hundred percent Rachel and i loved her for not being afraid to show it. We did our homework helping each other with classes we had, and struggling with ones we didn't have together. It was around five when we got done, Rachel's mom Brenda started dinner. Home made pizza and she let me and Rachel put on the toppings. Cheese and pineapple. yummmmy. But Rachel made her half a supreme the smell was making me sick. When i told her so, she laughed, thinking i was making a joke.
After dinner i asked about borders and she agreed. we took showers and got dressed, i mostly wanted the stench of the sausage and peppers off me. We arrived at borders around eight the big building had its huge bold letters on the front that spelled out 'borders' that glowed with neon lighting. we walked inside to the smell of new books and fresh coffee. when we left i had three new books a coffee and a cute guy named James number. it was nearly nine thirty when Rachel asked if we could go to the club again. we weren't dressed for it but i was in such a good mood i agreed. i had had my fun time to let her have hers.
