Was it the snow that brought the day to a close, drawing the moon out inch by inch as it rested upon the sun once more? Or was it the wind beaming between branches, frantically trying to escape the roots of life. A boy stumbled uphill, clutching books to his chest with both arms. Converse wore out and shoelaces drawn thin, the boys feet dragged bit by bit. His legs wobbled at each step, force on his body growing thicker and thicker. Up to his chest, which rose quickly at the thumping heart inside. He was struggling. The boys breathes were shaky, weaker and weaker with every pause. Once reaching the top, he slumped to his knees, a relieved breath escaping his shivering mouth. Exhaustion. He stood back on his feet, regaining the strength he lost to the walking battle against the hill. Brushing down his clothes and reaching down, he gathers his books and wraps his arms back around them, hugging them tightly to his thin chest. Bag slung over his back, bumping with each subtle movement, the boy walks again.

Yoongi pushed the key into the lock and fidgeted it around between his fingers until he heard the familiar click. He jolts the door open and let's it slowly close behind him. He kicks off his shoes, throwing his bag down next to them and heads towards the kitchen with his books. The kitchen was small. Infact, it took up the whole apartment. Nothing fancy to see in there. It was a storage for supplies, things that kept us alive...well thats how Yoongi saw it. He pulled open one of the drawers and spread his fingers around until they stumbled against the lighter which he had hidden from Taehyung last weekend. Slowly, he pulled the on-going flame to his face, watching it light up his pale skin. Grinning childishly, he grabbed the books he carried with him and headed to the balcony where a bin stood. The books didn't last long outside before they were tossed into the metal shell, covering the wood and other things left inside from previous nights Yoongi had spent alone. He lit the lighter once more and directed the flame towards the bin, watching the paper catch alight quickly. Yoongi turned around and grabbed the chair, pulling it behind him. He allowed his body to prop up against the back of the chair, watching his name fade away with each crackled flame.
