The birds chirping outside gave Hoseok a head start. The male had already been awake for a while, already waiting for the day to pass. Hoseok was struggling with sleep. Dance was his passion, he would teach himself and then continue to teach others until he knew they were good for the day. He didn't know when the insomnia started, or how it started...it just decided to choose him. He was free that day, seeming as he dropped out of school earlier in the year, he was an unoccupied chick. Sighing, the boy rose from his place on the bed and walked over to the shelves where his shoes hovered on top of. He grabbed them and pulled them down from their place and slid them on, walking out the door without hesitating. Hoseok was different now. He used to smile way more than before, used to love everything. He would wake up listening to the birds chirping, watching the sun from his window go up. But this wasn't the case anymore. The birds chirping turned into crows piercing his ears and the sun had been hidden for quite a long time. The streets didn't seem to bother him this early in the morning. It was rush hour and cars were piling in left, right and centre. The boy had a dark outfit on. Dark green shorts which covered everything from the knee above and a thin t-shirt which hid underneath the green jacket, which was messily slung over his body. Hoseok didn't care anymore. He lost motivation to do things a while ago. He forces himself out of bed with no warning. Sometimes he would sleep for a few hours, other times he would go sleepless. Maybe, he thought, maybe the fresh air will make me better. He was wrong. The cars were loud that day, arguing with one another by the pitch of their horns. Hoseok's head was ringing, he couldn't take it anymore. Slowly, his weak body turned on the spot, before he headed back home.

He had been alone for quite a while now. Curtains always drawn together in his room whilst everything else collected dust, cobwebs. The bed was messy, unmade. He didn't care. Holding the doorframe for support, Hoseok pulls off his shoes and stumbles through the living room to his bed. He slumped down, shoulders wearily hanging low along with his head. Tears. So many tears. His eyes grew wet a lot more recently. He wanted to hide himself. He thought he had gone crazy. Blamed it on everything he could think of. From his lack of sleep to loneliness, Hoseok had used every excuse under the sun. He was prescribed with medication, he didn't know what..but his doctor stated they would help him. He slowly lowered his body backwards, letting his back hit the sheets allowing his face to watch the ceiling. It was hard. Hoseok had never felt so empty in his life. His efforts to move were gone, he had lost it all. Laying on one side, he let the tears fall slowly, watching them flow down the bridge of his nose to the other cheek. His heart aches, it aches so bad. His family hasn't spoken to him since he dropped out of school, they were disappointed. But it wasn't Hoseok's fault. He pushed himself up from the position he was in and held his chest, feeling the pain coming along. He panics. Get up ! He tells himself. Go to the bathroom Hoseok ! He tells himself again. He can't. He's stuck. The pain in his heart paralyses his weak body, leaving him in a cramp until it was over. Floods of tears brewing from his eyes. When will it end? When?
