Daleth (pronounced 'da-let') is the fourth letter in the Hebrew alphabet. While the specific root of this name is not known, it is commonly accepted that the preceding, ancient letter that lead to 'Daleth' looked like a door. Similarly, the Hebrew word for 'door' is "Delet.' Perhaps this is referenced as Daleth is the Elder who welcomes you into the Kingdom of Sky; actively functioning as the door to the kingdom.
