Chapter 2

~~~Ariya's P.O.V~~~

~~~1 month later~~~

I woke up but I couldn't see anything I felt something on my face, my heart began racing, my breathing became heavy, and I heard a beeping noise. I heard a door open.
"Hey calm down your okay," a womans voice that I didn't recognize said.
"Who are you, where am I," I asked.
"Your in a hospital, I'm a nurse here I'll go tell the doctor you're awake." The woman said.
"O-ok," I was terrified of hospitals.

In about 5 minutes the door opened again.
"Hello there Ariya," a man said.
I stayed silent.
"You want the bandages off," the man asked.
I nodded.
The man unwrapped the bandages around my head, and handed me a mirror.
My skin was now a shade lighter that made my skin almost pure white, my hair turned from my mom's brown hair to a brownish black, and I now had a scar over my left eye which was now blind. I wanted to cry but I couldn't, "h-how long was I out?"
"About a month," the man who was wearing a doctor's coat said.
I just stared at him.

~~~A week later~~~

After a week I was discharged from the hospital. A police officer escorted me to the station so I could meet with my uncle.
"This is your caretaker," the police officer said gesturing to a man with brown hair, green eyes, and scars on the bridge of his nose and cheeks.
"Hello there Ariya I'm your dad's brother Liu," Liu said holding out his hand.
"I thought you were dead," I said shaking his hand.
"That's what he thought to but no I survived but just bearly," Liu responded.
"So you're gonna take care of me," I said.
"That's the plan since I'm the only one who volunteered," Liu said.
"Yeah," I responded.

~~~At Liu's House~~~

"So this is your house," I said.
"Yeah, your welcome to go anywhere in the house just be careful around the forest," Liu said.
"Because of the Creepypastas," I responded.
"Yes," Liu said.
"Can you teach me to use weapons," I asked.
"Sure," Liu answered.
