The Friend Request

I had decided to make friends at my new school before actually moving there, i thought it would be a smart idea so i went on face book and added some people. Some people responded asking who i was and i told them, somewhere cool about it and i have been messaging them for a while now. 
Turns out the one girl i was most close too was one of the most popular girls in the school so i thought that'd be a good thing, we would facetime and talk about how fun it was going to be once i was there.
Well i was bored at home dreading packing so i put it off and decided to scroll through face book and came across a post from Kendal the girl I'm friends with, she had tagged a bunch of other students in a picture from a year ago. I smirked looking at the group of friend's and saw someone i wasn't friends with, he was cute and caught my attention immediately....
"Oh my god, he is cute! Like really cute!" I looked through his profile seeing his beautiful smile and his light brown almost reddish hair, a cute white boy with a soft smile. 
I smiled and sent him a friend request, he messaged me right away, 
"Hi, um, do i know you?"
Why am i nervous?
"I'm Hailey, no you don't know me... i came across your profile and well yeah..."
I watched the bubbles go and fade away, maybe i wasn't his type, maybe i came off as weird?
"Oh, okay... Um well my name is Charlie... obviously lol."
"Hailey, obviously." 
"So where are you from, Hailey?"
"I'm from Arizona, and you?" As if i didn't already know.
"Texas, I'm sorry i have to make sure this isn't a joke, why did you send me a friends request?"
"I liked your smile, you seem sweet and kind..." The bubbles took a while and i was about to message Kendal about this guy but he messaged back,
"Thank you... I think you are sweet looking too."
Smooth Charlie, i giggled to myself, he must not be used to this kind of thing.
"Thank you Charlie.... So tell me about yourself."
"Like what? Lol, I'm not used to pretty girls talking to me anymore."
"Anymore?" 
"Well, its just been a while..."
"I don't see why, i mean your really cute.."
"Lol no I'm not but, thank you..."
A guy that cant take a compliment,  " Lol whatever, think what you want Charlie, what are you doing?" 
"Um, just bored at home, watching Netflix..."
"So am i, what are you watching these days?"
"Schitts creek, its really funny."
"I love that show! Right now I'm watching YOU."
"Lol that show i crazy but, good. I wish someone was obsessed with me like that."
"Lol, well maybe some will be but just not that crazy obsessed, that seems extreme lol."
"Well yeah but, just to have someone that's all about me would be nice."
"So I'm guessing your single?" 
"Lol very single, have been for a year."
"What you single? That cant be."
"Lol its true, and you? Are you single?"
He asked so that means he is curious and interested ...
"Single, moving so i broke it off."
"Where are you moving too?"
Should i tell him or let it be a surprise?
"Well a little bit east but not too far, I'm nervous people wont like me."
"What's there not to like? You seem really nice and your pretty..."
I bit my lip feeling flushed, butterflies invaded my stomach.
"I don't know how friendly people are going to be at my new school..."
"I'm sure you will be fine, if not you can always message me, ill be here."
He is so sweet!
"I like talking to you Charlie, you are making me smile like crazy."
"I am? I bet your smile is beautiful in real life."
I got nervous but took a picture of myself smiling, it might seem a little sexy since I'm in my sports bra and pajama shorts but, i really didn't mean for it to be sexy..
My stomach twisted seeing him read the message,
"Wow, that smile is gorgeous!" I giggled feeling so nervous!
"Can i get a pic?" The bubbles went flat for a while then finally my phone dinged, half his face was showing as his hand blocked the other side, he is being shy huh, but, my heart still raced from his picture, my core tingled for him. His shirt off, his muscles showing, he is flawless...
I sent him blushing faces, "Very cute Charlie." 
"lol I'm happy you think so, i um i have to say you make me nervous."
"I make you nervous? Charlie, you should hear my heart lol."
"Lol i don't believe you." 
I sent him eye rolling faces, "Lol i should get some sleep Hailey."
"Okay Charlie, ill talk to you later..." 
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
I scream in my pillow, my heart busting thinking about him and how handsome his is! Ugh he is hot! 
In the morning i told my mom about Charlie and showed her pictures of him, she smiled winking,
"He is cute! Are you going to tell him your moving to where he is?"
"No, i think I'm going to make it a surprise."
"What if he isn't the sweet guy you thought he is? What if he is a jackass?"
"I wont lose any sleep over it, its not like i love the guy, I'm just crushing on him."
My mom giggled, "Well how's David taking the break up?"
"Well he is still trying to get me to let him be my first before we move but, that's not going to happen, fucker shouldn't have cheated that one time."
"Good girl, make him suffer." I smiled heading back up to my room, I've been pulled out of school my transfers haven been put in so when we get there i can start right away. I laid in bed looking at Charlies picture, i jumped as my phone went off, it landed on my face, "Fuck!" My nose! I check my phone, the pain goes away instantly seeing its a message from Charlie, "Good morning." I bit my lip sending him a blushing face.
"Lol your cute Hailey."
"Lol, so are you Charlie." 
"Lies! I have to go, class about to start, ill messages you later."
"Hey how about you call me when your free... Id um like to hear what your voice sounds like..."
"Okay, id like that. Ill call you when i can."
"Sounds like a date." He sent me a smiley face making my heart flutter, i occupied myself by packing, i was happy to pack now that i have a reason looking forward to moving, Charlie...
I waited al day to hear from Charlie but he ever called me on messenger and never messaged me either, i felt a little bothered but i guess he was just to busy or maybe he didn't really like me.
I didn't want to come off as pathetic so i just left it alone, the last thing i wanted was to move there and him make a mock of me that i  was blowing him up.
Two days passed and i felt a little annoyed that i even messaged the guy and had this crush but then my phone started vibrating, it was Charlie... he was calling me. My heart started racing so fast, why am i so nervous?! 
"Um... Hi?" I said nervous but  also mad.
"H-ey, wow your voice is really beautiful..." He said breathlessly, i smirked,
"T-hank you Charlie." My heart melted hearing his voice, tingles vibrated inside my core.
"W-what happened? I thought you forgot about me..."
"I'm sorry, i was busy, i had a few doctors appointments and the medication they put me on kind of knocked me out."
Well he wasn't lying, he wasn't active those two days,
"Are you okay?" What could possible be wrong with him?
"Its nothing, just some tests. I was um, nervous to talk to you."
"Why?" I giggled, he chuckled, 
"I don't know, I'm kind of a loner these days so i don't talk to people so much."
"Oh... Well I'm still nervous even though we are on the phone, i um tend to ramble and i don't know when I'm doing it for the longest time.... I'm kind of doing it right now." We both giggle.
"You could ramble all day and id be happy to hear your voice."
"Shut up! Dork." 
"What I'm just being honest, I'm really liking this, us talking... Its nice to have someone to talk too."
"Acting like you don't talk to other girls."
"I don't, i really don't, like i said i keep to myself..."
"Mhm, well i need to finish packing, gonna be leaving in a week or two."
"Okay, well text me." Charlie sent me his number,
"Alright, um, ill talk to you later..."
"Okay... hey..." I smirked feeling nervous when he stopped me from hanging up.
"Yeah, Charlie?"
"Don't take to long." I giggled feeling blushed, "Okay..."
I hung up feeling like my tummy is filled with butterflies, i couldn't stop smiling. I sighed hearing knocks on my door, its probably the cable company. I opened the door not expecting to see my ex, "David, what are you doing here?"
"I don't want to break up, we can try the long distance thing...."
"David, its not going to work, it never dose.... I just think it would be best this way."
"Please baby, i love you..."
"David if you loved me why did you cheat on me?" I asked smiling.
"I didn't cheat..."
"Oh really? Remember that one time i told you i was going to see my Aunt in Texas? Well i didn't go, i found out you went to a party, i went to that party and you cheated on me with my bestfriend. I'm so happy i get to leave this place and never come back."
I push him out of the apartment locking the doors, that was easy....
