Hey guys!! It's me again and for this week I decided to talk about a very controversial topic among writers 👀
And it's called the "Writer's Block"🎊🎊
So now my question is what exactly is writer's block? Is it real or is it an "excuse" for a person to not write?
If I speak from my personal experience, I have definitely had moments while writing a story where I get stuck and have no idea what to do next. Ultimately I know I have to write the story because who else will write if not me? I remember feeling really frustrated and just annoyed in general because it's all there in my head like this blurry shadow but it's not coming to focus.
Many times I have thought to speak about it with my friend who's also a writer but at the last minute I would feel embarrassed and self conscious and I would let it be. And then I would turn to other mediums like youtuber where you have channels about novel writing and how to combat writer's block. I saw several videos which were pure debate on whether writer's block was real or not.
And being an overthinker in general, these conflicting opinions would just make me twist around things in my brain like a pretzel and ultimately I would lose interest in the project.
Anyone else feels the same?
Let me know what you think about this topic. And of you have any tricks thay have worked for you that I should give a try.....maybe?
