Jackson got home after dropping Chase off at the Hype House, putting his key in the lock of the door he saw his brother's shadow coming nearer to the door. Wondering why Jackson's brother would do that, Jackson swung the door open only to see a baseball bat coming towards his face and then all black.

3 Hours later...

Chase was relaxing on the couch of the Hype House living room when he heard Tony screaming Chase's name and came running down the stairs as if they were a flat surface. Tony looked at Chase with fear in his eyes and turned the tv to the news channel. Chase looked weirdly at Tony until he heard a familiar name over the tv which caught his attention immediately.

"My name is Julian Sanders, reporting live at the Horten estate. We were just informed that both Jackson and Dylan Horten was brutally murdered in their own home where they were tortured and stabbed to death. Why someone would want to harm these boys with no specific reason is a mystery. According to police officials there were no sign of force entry and nothing seems to be stolen. We are patiently waiting for a comment from Mr. Horten"

Chase stood there motionless, he did not know what to do. It seemed like Chase forgot how to breath. Tony broke the silence to offer if he should take Chase to the Horten estate. Chasse looked at Tony and just nod his head in agreement. Chase took a few steps towards the door before collapsing on his knees and started to sob. Chase was crying so hard that almost the whole Hype House came running down to see what was going on. Addison wanted to ask what the whole commotion was, but Tony only motioned to the tv and they where listening to the reported on the tv while everyone was taken by surprise about what they where hearing. "I...I need to go there.", Chase said with red puffy eyes and Tony only took Chase's hand and went to the car. The rest of the Hype House was right behind Chase. They where not going to allow him to go through this alone. The car drive was quite between Tony and Chase. Tony knew that Chase was hurting and knew that saying words like "it will be alright" will be a lie. Nothing about this will be alright.

Tony pulled up at Jackson's house and it was only cop cars, reporters and ambulances. At first the police didn't allow anyone to pass, but as soon as Jackson's father saw Chase they were allowed to pass. Chase walked slowly towards Jackson's parents and as soon as Jackson's mother saw Chase, she grabbed him and gave him a tight hug. Chase and Jackson's mother were crying while just staying in the hug position. "We have a live one!", one paramedic screamed as the others rushed into the house. Chase's head turned to the entrance of the house while the paramedic rolled a body out of the house on a stretcher. Mr and Mrs Horten ran to the stretcher to see who it was. They both started to cry uncontrollably when they saw who it was. Chase started to walk slowly towards the stretcher not really want to see who made it. Chase stopped in front of the stretcher and took a deep breath before opening his eyes to reveal a blood covered Jackson. "Sorry Mr Horten, we need to get him to the hospital now! He is losing a lot of blood and we fear he might not make it!", the paramedic said. Jackson's father looked at the paramedic and went with him to the ambulance to get Jackson to the hospital. As they drove to the hospital Jackson's parent got notified that they have to go to the hospital morgue as well to identify the second body..

As the ambulance entered the emergency parking the paramedics burst out of the doors and into the hospital rushing Jackson to the ER. Jackson's parent only stood there while an officer came up to them to asked them a few questions and to take them so they could identify the body. Chase was still on his way to the hospital and when he arrived he saw all the Hype and Sway House members already there. He could not believe it. "Wow, Jackson really made an impression on us for all of them to be here.", Chase said to Tony. "No, they care for you Chase and that's why they are here. They know how close you and Jackson are and they want to be here for you.", Tony said softly. As Chase got out of the car he was receiving hugs from everyone, even from Josh, Bryce and Charli. Chase sitting in the waiting room with a cup of coffee in his hands thinking about what Jackson has taught him during there friendship, Bryce and josh was sitting next to Chase and while Chase looked at the boys, Jackson's wise words where repeating over and over in his head, "why hold a grudge against someone? That will kill you faster than you know", Chase tried to bite the rage back but failed. Chase shot up and threw his coffee across the room. "Why didn't you follow your own fucking advise Jackson!", Chase screamed which startled Bryce and Josh. Tony shot up and ran to Chase to calm him down.

"Acting like this in front of Jackson's parents aren't helping anything." Tony calmly said to Chase. Chase looked at Tony for a second before realizing that Tony is right. Chase turned to everyone and apologized for his outburst. Jackson's mother came to Chase and just gave him a tight hug. Chase stepped back after the hug and looked at Jackson's mother. "If I may ask...Who's body was the second one?", Chase asked feeling calm. Jackson's mother looked down. "It was Rikey's body." Chase was really confused but before Chase could say anything the doctor came through the doors.

"Mrs and Mr Horten, We managed to stabilize Jackson. He lost a lot of blood and to be honest I thought he was not going to make it, but he is one hard headed boy that just will not give up", the doctor said and told everyone that they are not allowed to see Jackson just yet. Out of nowhere a nurse came running through the doors screaming the doctor's name. The doctor turned his attention to the nurse and what everyone heard shook them to the bones. "Yes nurse Cindy! What is wrong?", the doctor asked. "It is Jackson! He is gone and so is the body of Rikey!", the nurse told him.

Everyone just stood there with nothing to say and paralysed with shock.
