Hey hey everyone! I just wanted to pop in here really quickly to say a few disclaimers.

1. This is probably the most important part to note. The BAU's current employees are the children of the elite team (Hotchner, Reid, Rossi, Prentiss, Jareau, and Morgan). So, each of their children grew up and went to work for the BAU just like their parents. They are also following all the same roles (Hotchner's son is the Unit Chief, JJ's son is the Communications Liason, etc.)

2. This is a total fantasy story, like in all aspects. It's basically impossible (from my understanding) to get into the BAU/get into the BAU that young. So for the purpose of this story, just pretend :)

3. For the purpose of this story, we're gonna pretend that Spencer Reid was like 30 when it happened, and in the present day and time, he's about 50. (I felt like this was important to note so there's no confusion later on.)

4. If you've watched the show, then you know that this isn't how the story goes. But I had this idea of, "What if," and created the whole scenario in my head and decided to put it to paper, in a sense.

5. Lasty, I am not a professional. I've always enjoyed writing but I'm assuming this story might have some typos or errors so just bear with me. I also want to say that all of the ideas presented in this are mine, if by some freak coincidence, someone had the same idea pop into their head, I just want to say that all the ideas here are my own. Unless noted otherwise (I will always mention at the beginning of the chapter if the idea was influenced by someone else's ideas.)
