When Italy woke up, he couldn't feel his arm. When he tried to move it, he realized why it was numb.
Germany's head was nuzzled soundly on Italy's arm, using it as a makeshift pillow. Italy would've loved to keep him there if he wasn't cutting off the blood circulation to his arm.
"Ah! G....Germany's hurting me!" Italy frowned, gently trying to shake Germany awake.
"Hmphh?" Germany groaned, cracking open his sleepy eyes.
"Germany's hurting my arm," Italy whimpered.
Germany snapped to attention, realizing that he was probably crushing the smaller nation.
"Es tut mir leid!" (I'm sorry) I apologize Italy! I didn't know," Germany rushed, rapidly removing his head from Italy's arm.
"No, no! Va tutto bene!" (No, no! It's all good!) Italy smiled reassuringly. He patted Germany's hair, which was severely messy compared to its usual slicked-back form.
Italy paused a moment before piping up again.
"Germany didn't have any more nightmares, did he?" Italy shifted forward so he could intertwine his hand with Germany's. Germany's face flushed a deep crimson as he yanked his hand away from Italy's, only to have it pulled back into the Italian's hand yet again.
"No, I did not. Danke again, for last night," Germany said, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck.
"Germany doesn't have to keep thanking me! It's fun to help you, plus, I promised I would always help you, remember?" Italy questioned.
Germany nodded, and the room settled into a comfortable silence. Germany wondered how long Italy would be able to stay silent. Obviously, his stomach couldn't stay quiet, as it grumbled loudly.
"PASTA TIIIIIIME," Italy yelled, causing Germany to flinch.
"Italy, do you really have to have pasta for breakfast?" Germany huffed.
Italy nodded quickly, jumping up from the bed.
"Try and catch me!" Italy giggled as he dashed out of the room and down the hallway.
Germany signed but smiled.
Here we go again.

Hello, welcome to the end.
Now I'm thinking of Minecraft.
Ok.
Sorry it was a short story, but I'll make them longer if I continue!
Bye! 😄
