the cool afternoon wind blew past the volleyball team members as they jog. haru rides his bicycle behind the team. he put his head on his arms, leaning forward on the bicycle handlebar. meanwhile the second years gang is running on the very first row, gossiping quietly among themselves.
it is their final lap, so the sun is almost set on the west while still lit up the earth with its majestic golden ray.
osamu looked back to their manager who is currently looking over the stopwatch and then looked back to atsumu, before he averted his eyes forward again.
"ne, tsumu, do ya--" osamu was about to tell his twin something and he saw suna shook his head. "nevermind." osamu swiftly stopped himself.
"eh? what's with ya?" atsumu snickered. he huffed in annoyance, before jabbing his finger to osamu's side, "yer hiding somethin' from me, rite?"
osamu rolled his eyes, "am i not allowed to hide something from ya?"
"i am yer twin!"
"oi, ya were hiding the fact that ya went out with mum and didn't buy me any puddings,"
"but--"
"ya only buy it for yourself,"
"mum said we only can get one!"
"stop lyin'!"
"'m not, dumbass--"
"oi, oi, what's with the commotion?" a gentle voice called from beside them.
"haru-san," suna greeted which haru replied with a nod.
"you two won't get any snacks if you continue your fight." haru sighed.
"but he is--" atsumu tried to argue but quickly shut down by haruka, "tsumu, if yer being like that, i'll give all the onigiris to samu."
atsumu pouted at that while osamu smiled brightly.
the third year then averted his gaze towards the road again. he slowed down his bicycle so that he is on the very back row of the formation.
suna nudged kosaku, "should we tell 'im?"
the white haired boy frowned. "i don't know, dude, it's not like we know for sure though," kosaku whispered to suna.
"what ar'ya guys hidin' from me?!" atsumu yelled to his friends.
"no need so loud, atsumu," kita scolded.
"o-osu," the blond replied , avoiding to directly looking at his captain in the eyes.
kita sighed, he then turned his head to kosaku and suna. "and you two, don't go around telling everyone something you have no right to tell."
;
atsumu plopped his body to his futon. eyes wondering to the room's ceiling. today's peactice is more tiresome than usual. he did three times more drills than everyone.
"atsumu, we decided to tell you this even though kita-san didn't allow us to tell you," suna said, snapping out atsumu from his trance.
"huh?" to say atsumu is confused is understatement. he knew that his twin and his friends hiding something from him, but they usually never tell him any of the secrets they are hiding. so, this is new.
"i know y'er confused rite' now, but--" kosaku was cut off by osamu.
"this the only secret we share ta ya!" osamu said with a devilish grin.
