Juliette Diggory is a young girl who finds herself in a life full of hard challenges. She meets someone on the way who helps her become the person she is.
Juliette Diggory rose from her bed full of joy and happiness. Today was the day! All of her life she had been waiting for this very moment. She threw the covers off her lap and rushed down the stairs of her home. All of her emotions were laid to rest when the smell of her mother's famous waffles caught her attention.
"Mother, you really didn't have to!" she said trying to use her manors.
"Oh you silly girl. Today is a special day!" her mother said walking over to Juliette with an ear to ear grin on her face. She kissed her daughters cheek and walked over to her son who was now just walking into the kitchen/dining area. "Only the best for my future first year and future third year!" she squeezed Cedric's cheeks and kissed his left one.
"Ew mother, I'm practically a man now. I can't have you kissing my cheek." Cedric said with a small grin showing that he was joking.
The Diggory family were all very close with each other. Juliette knew that Cedric would watch over her at Hogwarts. She wouldn't admit it but she was more than grateful for her big brother. Cedric walked over to the table and sat next to their father, Amos Diggory.
"You are far from being a man sir. Now, eat! We mustn't be late!" said their Father looking more excited than them.
Soon enough they had loaded their trunks into their car and were headed to the station. Juliette could barely contain her excitement. She desperately wanted to know what house she would be sorted into. Her brother, Cedric, had been sorted into Hufflepuff three years prier. It was no surprise. Cedric was sweet and kind to everyone he met. He was as tough as he was sweet though, meaning he wasn't afraid to stand up to people. Juliette had heard that her brother was very popular at Hogwarts but she wasn't going to let her brother's rumors take over. Soon she would see for herself. She was hoping to be put in Ravenclaw, or maybe Gryffindor. Although she was almost an opposite of her brother. Yes, she was kind but she had an attitude and is sometimes full of herself. Juliette was fully aware of that though and was trying to fix it.
Juliette soon found herself in the parking lot of the station. Overwhelmed with joy, she hopped out of the car as fast as possible and rushed to grab her trunk and owl that she had named Penny at Diagon Alley.
"Slow down Juls," Cedric said laughing at her. "Were in no rush. Twenty minutes early actually."
"Twenty minutes! Well we better hurry! I wanted to be here thirty minutes early!" she yelled. She wasn't joking though. Juliette was much of an over thinker, especially when it came to being on time. Her and her family walked though the muggle station looking at all the strange people. Some were sleeping on benches. Others were banging on vending machines attempting to knock something out. Soon they arrived in between platforms 10 and 9. She watched as Cedric and her father effortlessly ran through the stone arch. She looked up at her mother nervously. Her mother just rubbed her shoulder telling her it was ok and she could do it.
"Together." she said smiling at her daughter.
"Together." Juliette said looking at the bricks.
They both ran through and in an instant the platform had transformed. Her parents started putting their luggage onto the train while Juliette was admiring every second of her experience.
"Your going to love it, Juls." Cedric said lovingly while looking down at his little sister.
Juliette smiled at Cedric and he pulled her into a hug as they watched students boarding the train.
Juliette was a beautiful young girl. She had light brown hair that was straight and right below her shoulders. And she had the most amazing light green eyes. She looked a lot like Cedric and over the years they were both looking more and more like twins.
Her brother pulled away from the hug and looking down at Juliette, "We should probally get going. Let's go say bye to mother and father." Juliette nodded and turned around.
They both walked over to her parents and gave them massive hugs.
"Juliette, Cedric?" they both looked at her mother as she spoke. "Please, remember to write, I miss you already." she said looking sad and happy at the same time.
"Of course mother." Cedric said reassuring their Mum.
They both gave final hugs before they turned around and climbing onto the massive train.
"You should walk down there. There should be many first years. I can go with you if you would like." said Cedric.
Juliette looked up at his pure heart. She knew he wanted to go see his friends.
"No, it's alright. I can handle myself." she said smiling.
Cedric gave her a small hug and with that, he was gone. Juliette began to walk down the train, passing many students on her way. She continued forward and watched as a blonde, pale boy was walking the opposite way of her. The train was a tight squeeze so she didn't understand what he was doing.
As he grew closer he pushed her out of his way and turned around before he continued walking. "Watch it." he said eyeing her.
"I think you should actually. Your walking the wrong way." she said looking at him.
He obviously wasn't expecting her to speak up. He walked closer to her, never once breaking eye contact. "If I were you I would learn to respect your superiors-" he paused. "Name?" he asked.
"Diggory, Juliette Diggory." she smiled at him with sass.
"Well then Diggory, as I said, respect your superiors." he turned around and walked towards what seemed to be the Slytherin part of the express.
She shook her head and continued on her way. She saw there was a spot next to a girl with long blonde hair, a boy who looked extremely nervous, and a preppy girl with puffy brown hair.
"Do you mind if I sit here, rest of the train seems to be taken." asked Juliette.
They all looked up from their conversation and smiled.
"Oh no! We don't mind at all!" replied the girl with puffy hair. "I'm Hermione Granger. What's your name?" she asked with a grin.
Ivy knew she had found the right crowd. "I'm Juliette, Juliette Diggory. Pleasure to meet you." she said holding her hand out as Hermione shook it.
"I-I'm Neville. Neville Longbottom." said Neville, shyly looking down at the floor.
"And my name is Luna." said the blonde girl was a happy look on her face. "Luna Lovegood. I love your name by the way, it's very pretty." she said smiling.
"Oh, thank you. I quite fancy yours as well. Nice to meet you all." Juliette said happy that she had made some friends.
The rest of the ride was full of laughter and questions as the group got to know each other. That is until Neville's toad seemed to have gone missing and Hermione and Neville left to go find it never returning. Luna was very sweet, also very smart and a bit strange but Juliette liked her. Soon enough they arrived at Hogwarts.
