Juliette's pov
I watched as Cedric walked away towards what I assumed was the Hufflepuff dorms.
"Oh! It appears the head boy and girls are leaving, I have to go to the Ravenclaw tower now! Wish me luck Juli!" Luna squeaked.
I turned around to look at her but she was already gone. Great, I thought to myself. I looked around and saw a group of children following a boy and a girl that were both wearing green. That had to have been my group. I jogged over to the crowd and blended in with the rest of the new comers. I peered at the all faces, to my surprise not all of them seemed to look mean or harsh. As I looked around the beautiful castle I felt a shock hit me, it was cold all the sudden, and dark? I looked in front of myself and noticed we had now entered a darker portion of the castle. I never minded the dark, I always found it peaceful and calming, more natural than sunlight and brightness. The cold though, I did mind the cold. That was one thing I could not stand, I have too many jackets and sweatshirts to count. My thoughts were broken apart upon entering what appeared to be my very own common room. I looked around at the beautiful room. Gorgeous leather couches next to an amazing fireplace. It was dark, but it was a good kind of dark.
"Girls dorms are on the left staircase, boys on the right. You will all share your dorms with three others and your names will be on the door of your dorm. Boys are never permitted in the girls dorms, do not even try. I wish you all the best of sleep, be well rested for tomorrow. Goodnight." I watched the head boy and girl go there separate ways.
I noticed everyone around me seemed to have already been moving towards the stairs. I hurried to keep up with them and went up the long and fancy staircase in front of me. On the way up I noticed that there was glass and on the other side there were marine animals. I smiled at the fish that passed by me. Though this wasn't the house I wanted, this was definitely my type of room. I continued upwards following the group of other Slytherin girls. When we reached the top there was a long hallway that lead to more hallways with many doors. Knowing myself, it would most likely make me an hour to find my dorm. I started down the narrow hallway looking at each sign on the doors for my name. I turned right into another hallway and then into another and then another. This was taking forever. I finally reached the very end of the last hallway and alas, there was my name in beautiful green cursive. Juliette O. Diggory. Ew, curse them for putting my middle names first letter, that was one name I did not like nor want to be reminded of. I read the other names, Indigo R. Raine, Aline A. Belle, and Fae E. Willow. Interesting names indeed. I hesitantly opened the door. I peered in and saw two out of the three girls. They both turned there heads and smiled.
"Hello! I'm Fae!" said a tall girl with glowing chocolate brown skin. She had beautiful curly hair that was about shoulder length. Her light blue eyes stood out making her even more gorgeous. She was very skinny and absolutely stunning. She held out her hand and I shook it was a smile.
"Hey, I'm Aline. Nice to meet you." I looked at the girl. She was also beautiful. How ugly I felt compared to the two. She had pretty pale skin and dark, dark brown eyes. She looked to be Asian, but I didn't want to assume anything. She had very dark hair. It was straight and went to her elbows. She was tall, taller than Juliette but not as tall as Fae. "You can call me Ally." she said in monotone, but sweet way.
"Nice to meet you guys! My names Juliette, but you can call me Juli or Juls or whatever, I don't really care." I laughed.
"Were going to get to bed, nice meeting you though." said Fae softly. They both climbed into their beds. I walked over to what I assumed was my bed because it had my trunk next to it. I decided to unpack that next day. There was too much stress and excitement in me to be able to unpack silently. I slowly rolled up my blanket and crawled into the small bed. It was smaller then I was used to. By all means, my room was not big, but I did have a queen sized bed so this was a bit of a downgrade but it was cozy enough. I felt very safe and calm in my dorm. I heard the door creak open. I quietly looked over to make it seem like I was still sleeping, not in the mood for talking again. The girl was small and short. She had long blonde hair and freckles. I couldn't see her eye color though. She was also very pretty. I suppose she can join the club with her two other gorgeous roommates. She looked like she was in a bad mood, like something had happened and she was annoyed. I didn't want to think about it too much. I soon drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
