As soon as Y/n walked into the DEO, Alex knew something was wrong. Her usual smile that could brighten anyone's day was replaced with a displeasing frown. "Everything okay?" Asked Alex as she watched the 14 year old agent pull her short Y/h/c (Your hair colour) hair into a ponytail. "Everything's perfect," replied Y/n Bitterly. Something was clearly wrong and Alex was determined to find out. "Did something happen at school?" Calmly questioned Alex. Y/n groaned in frustration before responding in a cold tone "Drop it Danvers." Y/n turned around and headed down the hallway. "Hey y/n. How are you," greeted Kara (supergirl) but y/n ignored her and continued walking. Kara made a confused face and walked over to Alex. "What's wrong with Y/n. She's usually a ball of sunshine." asked Kara, Alex just shrugged. Both the two older woman stood there is silence before J'onn walked over.
"Everything okay, Agents?" questioned J'onn as he noticed there silence. Kara sighed before answering "Is everything okay with Y/n? She seems upset," asked Kara. J'onn sighed before answering in a quiet voice, "You can't tell anyone about this got it." He sent a deadly glare to the two they both nodded in fear.
(Sorry. Quick note this is a completely DIFFERENT story to the last one.... I don't know what is it with me and people dieing in allyways. Thanks.)
"Y/n's parents died in a shooting in an alley, two nights ago. She's been staying at a friends house but....Today is her last day at DEO and then she has to go into the foster care system." Alex and Kara gasped in horror. "Why does she have to leave the DEO? She doesn't have to leave, does she?" Frantically asked Kara. She was trying to find away to keep y/n at the DEO and out of the foster care system. Meanwhile Alex was standing back in shock. Y/n was like a daughter to her and now she was about to lose her. J'onn sighed before shaking his head, "Y/n parents were both orphans so she has no blood family left. Her friend's parents were trying to adopt her but the government hasn't allowed it. Something about not enough money and it wouldn't be a good fit. So unless one of you are looking to adopt a 14 year old girl, there's nothing we can do." Alex stepped forward, "I'll do it." Kara looked at her sister a little concerned, "Alex, you sure? Taking care a kid, let alone a teen is hard work." Alex gave a reassuring look to her sister. "It's not that hard and besides I need to do this."
