date night Part 1

it's been about a month since aidan and i last had a date night it was my night to pick i decided to do a classic face masks, movies, and baking at aidan's house because my kitchen is too small, I've been meaning to teach aidan how to bake my special vegan brownies that he loves so much. The day before i went to sephora and got a glam glow mask and snacks, i was now on my way to aidans house when i got there i opened the door to find mrs gallagher "hi mrs gallagher" i said walking into the living room "oh hi [y/n] how are you" she asked "i'm good do you know where aidan is?" i asked " he's in his room sweetie" she said pointing up the stairs "ok thank you mrs gallagher" i called while racing up the stairs i finally got to aidans room and pushed open the door to see him napping his hair was all over his face i slowly walked to the bedside and brushed the hair from his forehead and kissed his cheek lightly, i walked to one side of his room and put my bag down and took off my shoes i pushed the covers back from the bed and slid in next to aidan he must of known that i was there because rolled over and placed his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him i kissed his cheek again shutting my eyes and just enjoying the moment " i love you" i whispered just as he opened his eyes "i love you too baby girl" he replied against my forehead i couldn't help but giggle.

"Did you get the stuff" he asked " yes i got the face masks and snacks" good can't wait" he smiled softly "I can't wait either" i said snuggling closer to him. We stayed like that for an hour or so before we actually got out of his comfy bed, we went down to the kitchen and i sat on the counter watching and he grabbed utensils to make dinner i was so deep in thought that did didn't notice that he was right in front of me i wrapped my legs around his waist pulling him closer and peeked his lips he wrapped his arms around my waist burying his head into my chest "so what do you want for dinner" he mumbled into my collar bone i put the tip of my finger up to my lip to make out that i was thinking my other hand went straight to scratching his scalp softly "carbonara sounds good do you want some help" i asked he humed slowly moving from the embrace "could you please cut the onion and the veg and i'll do the pasta and sauce ok" "siead "ok" i replied jumping off the counter and grabbing everything from the fridge and started to chop everything into bite sized pieces i grabbed a pan from underneath the cooktop and poured a little bit of oil into it "onion, mushroom, zucchini and spinach" i mumbled loud enough for aidan to hear he giggled a little bit and wrapped his arms around me resting his chin on my shoulder he was used to me talking to myself " you forgot the garlic, salt and pepper" he pointed out "ops" i whispered reaching out and grabbing the garlic and putting in the pan along with the salt and pepper i grabbed a wooden spoon and mixed it together i placed the lid on it a started to clean up and do the dishes while aidan made the pasta and sauce. I finished the dishes and turned to aidan to see that he finished plating up the carbonara. I grabbed two forks and headed to the living room with aidan in tow. I sat on the couch and turned on the tv and put netflix on.
