Yang's POV
My head pounded as I slowly sat up from where I was laying. Where was I again? Shit I can't remember. I observed my surroundings. A curtain that blocked 90% of my view and a bed.
"Good morning, dear sister," I heard a low voice come from behind the curtain. I remember now. The memories from last night's events flashed through my head.
Groaning, I got out of the bed and stretched, "Yin? Did you get any information?"
I heard Yin yawn lazily, "No and it's pissing me off." I raised my eyebrow. That's a first.
"Why is that?"
"Oh well you know. The girl that saved us isn't exactly what we were hoping for. She's a tough one," I saw her pout as I stepped out from behind the curtain. She had bags under her eyes and she looked like shit.
I frowned at her unsightly slim figure. She caught my look of distaste and fixed her clothes and hair. I look around the room one more time and decide to set up an Observer. I briskly walked to the door of the room and and checked if there was anyone around.
I took a sharp edged gem out of my pocket and pricked my finger with it. The gem gave off a faint blue glow. Yin looked at me, "Make sure they can't sense it."
I shot her a glare, "I am no longer a child. I know how to do this," I rubbed the gem on a part of the desk that was by the door. Observe for me now, Animadverte. The gem glowed another shade of blue and sunk into the desk. Like it was absorbed.
"There all done-"
A loud, demanding voice echoed through the room, "Hey! What did you just do? And who are you?"
I turned sharply to the door to see a boy dressed in a black suit. His hair was black but had two white stripes on the left side. Shit. Yin looked directly into his eyes which happened to be a gold color.
"We were just venturing around the infirmary to get the hang of it. We're also the transfer students," Yin's voice was very calm and soothing. My head began to throb. Freaking hell. The boy slumped forward, unconcious.
"Hey asshole, warn me next time," I hissed through clenched teeth. Yin ignored me and walked over to the boy and said in a serious tone, "His name is Death the Kid."
My eyes must've widened because the room got brighter. "You mean to tell me this," Gesturing down to him, "Is Lord Death's son?" I was baffled by his such slim frail figure. Are my sights teasing me? Or is everyone here so damn frail.
"Hey, Kid. Wake up, they'll kill us if you don't."
There were two pistols laying on the floor at Kid's side. They glowed pink and they changed into their human forms. A tall lady in a cowboy hat knelt at his side along with a short one at his other side.
"Kid looks so funny when he's asleep!" The short girl laughed hysterically. What in the bloody hell. The tall one glanced over to us and sighed lazily. "Looks like we'll have to deal with this ourselves. Patty let's go."
The short girl supposedly named Patty jumped up gleefully, "Ok, sis." She changed into a pistol and the tall girl handled her with skill. Aiming for us she shot once and we dodged the bullet, only to be faced with another set of bullets. What? I only heard one shot. The next bullet grazed my shirt.
I saw a glimpse of yellow light from my left. Did she shoot again? I quickly looked over to see Yin holding her left palm out.
"Scorpio."
With that simple word, a blinding light appeared in front of her. I shielded my eyes as I could smell a sweet and salty smell invade my nose, causing my eyes to water. When I opened them, I saw her creature. It's head was shaped like a crescent moon, thin sharp pincers, and three tails with stingers. I looked back at the tall girl to see her frozen in terror.
"Do it now."
Scorpio plunged one of it's tail into the middle of her chest. The impact sending her out the door and into the hallway. She laid there unconcious along with her 'sister'. "Their memories are now erased," Yin said sleepily.
"I'm still here. I, Death the Kid, shall rid your perfectly symmetrical creature and you from this planet."
We both turned around to see Death the Kid glower at us. "You hurt my friends," was all he said before his features changed completely.
