The dark clouds had me cornered,
The hailstones mercilessly hurting me,
Fear controlling my body,
My isolation had won over my bravery,
I let the darkness consume me whole,

That's when a little glow of light hummed towards me,
I heard a soft voice say,

"Hold on, be patient this too shall pass"

Surrounded by it's light,
I stood up,
Dancing to the subsiding sound of thunder,
The clouds soon gave away to the sunlight,

I looked up in awe at the sky,
It was painted in rainbow,
Had I given up then,
I'd have lost seeing this beautiful sight,
Now only my scars will remain,

To tell the valorous tale of a fighter.

World Suicide Prevention month. I've written this to all the brave fighters who are fighting their thoughts.

I am proud of you, and perhaps the  little glow of light in your life is with you in the form of an angel disguised as a human supporting you through your life. 💖✨
