(reader's POV)
I was placing ornaments on the tree, when the phone rang. I climbed off of the step stool, and walked into the hall.
It was my parents. They were out for two weeks for
a Christmas vacation.
I answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hello! How are you doing?"
I smiled,"I'm doing okay... is the vacation going okay?"
"Yep. What are you doing?" I look at the tree, the back at the phone. "I'm decorating the tree"
I could hear my mother whisper something to someome.
"That's wonderful! Stay safe!"
"Good bye!"
I hung up, smiling. 'It's good my parents are having a good time.' I got back on the ladder, and continued to decorate the tree.
I was finished as i placed the star on the top of the tree.
I then heard the front door open. I look into the hall to see Shinso, walking in , his coat and scarf making him look so cuddly and adorable.
He smiled at me as i got down, running up to him and giving him a big hug. He chuckled. "You could've waited so I could help you with the tree." I shook my head.
"I wanted it to be a surprise when you got home!" Shinso just smiled. "It looks beautiful."
At this, I ran into the kitchen, putting a kettle on for hot chocolate.
I then trecked upstairs, grabbing a blanket, and two pillows. I walked downstairs to see Shinso taking the hot coco out of the cupboard, i told him to follow me into the living room. He did, and i threw the pillows onto the couch.
I motioned for him to sit down, he did, and i threw the bkanket over him. "Let me do it Shinso! You had a hard day at the agency. Leave it to me..."
He was about about to say something, but a stopped him with a quick kiss, before running back into the kitchen.
(Shinso's POV)
She kissed me, before running back into the kitchen. I blushed lightly. We had been dating for at least 2 years, but eveytime she did that, i got a little flustered.
I sat, staring at the fire. She was amazing, she really was. Her beautiful e/c eyes were so full of life.
She was my butterfly...
(A/n: idk, i have a feeling he would call you butterfly...)
A few minutes later, she walked out, carrying a tray of hot chocolate. on the tray, were two mugs and two pieces of her anazing gingerbread cake with lemon sauce.
(A/n: gingerbread cake is really good btw...)
I smiled, and she set the tray down on the coffee table.
We sat there, sipping our hot chocolate, as the snow fell outside.
I put my arm around her, and she leant into me, putting her head on my shoulder.
