The teachers clapped to shush everyone up
Dumbledore: Well everyone this is a hat called the sorting hat which will determine which house you will be in based on your own unique traits.
A couple of minutes passed as they prepared the hat calling student up one by one
HUFFLEPUFF! SLYTHERIN! GRYFFINDOR! RAVENCLAW! the hat screamed over every student
the familiar boy from before, I believe his name was Malfoy? Draco Malfoy? Anyways the hat seemed to not even touch his head before it yelled SLYTHERIN!
Time passed and all my friends were appointed Gryffindor, Making me hope to be in the same house as them
They sat at different tables I assumed house tables.
7 students later my name were called
Dumbledore: Ashlee Evergreen?
With nervous and shaky legs I went up to the stands as I sat down Professor McGonagall placing the hat on my head, The hat seemed to take a minute
The Sorting Hat: Wow wow a lot like your mother Kind, Loyal, cunning, and most certainly Independent! I think not Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw...
The hat coughed
The sorting hat: I think SLYTHERIN!
The hat screeched, my eyes widened as I wasn't going to be with ANY of my friends
Hermione, Ron, and Harry looked at me with smiles mouthing "Congrats"
Harry was especially red as I walked to my table
Malfoy: Welcome to Slytherin Love
he said lifting his eyebrows in a weird manner.
Uh, thanks? I scoffed
We were all called to the dormitories unprepared of what was to go on next
We made our ways to our dorms and I met a soon to be a familiar face
Blue-eyed girl: Hello I'm Stephanie, Stephanie Taylor. And you are?
"Ashlee Evergreen," I said with a smile on my face
Stephanie: I'm gonna call you to ash okay?
"that's fine, And I'm going to call you Steph"
Steph: So now that we're friends I think I should tell you Mr. Malfoy prince of Slytherin is staring at you
She said rolling her eyes
I stared back as he started walking towards me
Malfoy: Hello again, Evergreen?
"Ashlee actually."
Malfoy: Evergreen it is
He said with a snarling smile
Malfoy: so are you a pure-blood?
"Yea I am both my parents are purely magic, Why do you care?"
I started rolling my eyes
Malfoy: No reason, Friends?
"no thanks, You don't seem like a person I would like to hang around sorry."
Malfoy: Well if that's how you want to play, Then let's play Evergreen.
I scoffed walking away
Steph: WAIT UP ASH!
"sorry I said giggling, I just had to get away from the twit"
Steph: you know I can tell where gonna be really good friends
"me too"
