Siki slipped a long, white, flowy dress over her small, slender body, just as she always did every morning at dawn. She went out and collected everyone's clothes from the day before. She washed them and hung the out on the clothesline. When the sun was as high in the sky as it could be, she stopped. She would walk along the gray path that started as dirt and at some point ran into a paved road, which led to the Wall where she would meet her best friend, Zeffelio. He always looked tired, but strong and muscular from all of the work he did building up the Wall. "Happy Mavujet!" he shouted from some scaffolding on the wall, his hands cupped to his mouth and his feet swinging back and forth like a little kid, excited for, well, Mavujet. "You too," Siki said, "Guess what?" "What?" Zeffelio responded as he grabbed her arms to help her up on the scaffolding. Siki's hands grasped the thick rope that hung from the top of the Wall that was there to help workers get up. By the time she got up and she was sitting next to Zeffelio with her legs swinging back and forth like his, her hands were raw. "How do you deal with that rope all day?" Zeffelio smiled and held up his callused hands and Siki nodded. "So what is it?" Zeffelio said hopefully. "What is what?" Siki teased. She laughed and then reached in her pocket. Out came a round, soft, blushing peach. Zeffelio's jaw dropped. "How in the UNIVERSE did you get a-" he hesitated, "peach?" He asked, the last word being a question in itself. Siki nodded and said, "I traded." Before Zeffelio could ask what she traded it for, she was already making her way down the scaffolding. "Come on!" She said, "let's go eat this peach at the Sahel."
