2. Fixer upper

Roman Catalano.

Six foot, Varsity captain, pale skin, black hair.

He's your typical dream boat. Everyone either wanted him or wanted to be him. Born into a rich family or to be more specific daddy's money.

His up bringing was quite normal. Or Atleast normal for his family's life style. Since his father was the CEO of a large tech company he was never home and when he was home things weren't pleasant. He would either not speak or he would criticize Roman for every single little thing he did. Not to mention he was abusive. Both physically and emotionally.

His mother. Well to him she was weak. She was the classic house wife. Prim and proper woman with no other desire in life other than to lol our babies, keep the house tidy and be beautiful eye candy to a successful man.

A real life 1950s woman except she wasn't born into those times.

Due to constantly hearing his father slap his mother around Roman obviously grew up to be somewhat unhinged. He had very specific tastes in women and he didn't like men. He saw men as purely competition.

To him his desired partner should be no taller than five foot three. She should have no blemishes. Dress modestly and be completely hairless.

So why did he pursue Azula?

Well I forgot to mention that he has a savior complex. He has this obsessive need to fix everyone he dates. Calls it his way of making up for never being strong enough to save his mother from his fathers wrath inside of that horrid mansion.

She doesn't fit any of his desires except for the height and the cleanliness. But she somehow had enough problems to catch his attention.

Azula Valentine.

Five foot three with brown skin, curly hair, tattoos and several piercings.

She's your typical misfit. But without the drug and alcohol addiction.

She lives in an average middle class home with her emotionally unavailable and emotionally, mentally and physically abusive mother with a stepfather who comes and goes and two younger siblings who seem to not have a care in the world but are slowly getting to their tipping point.

One thing she does have is mental illnesses.

Azula may look like she gets down and dirty but it's quite the opposite. She won't tell you anything about what she's seen though. Her motto is to just push through. So how did she end up on Romans radar? She didn't know in the beginning but she found out very quickly.

Roman looked at Azula's chest. Fresh nipple piercings peeking through. "Another piercing?"

"Yes Roman another piercing. I know this may come as a shock to you but I am my own person and this body does belong to me so I'll do as I please with it." Rolling her eyes Azula shut her locker and walked off to class leaving Roman leaning against the lockers like an idiot.

Roman didn't like that one bit.
