Another Dream?

"I'm soooo sorry Sky," a familiar musty male voice said to my half conscious self, "I didn't mean for that to happen."

Wait.. that voice.. the one from my previous dreams... did I die? I thought to myself with my eyes closed. I have no memory of what happened after I was electrocuted. So I wouldn't have been surprised if I was in heaven.

"Ah you didn't exactly die," the voice said shyly, "but your kinda in a coma."

Huh? Did I said that out loud? How could he hear me I'm talking in my head..? I wondered with my eyes still shut. I didn't dare to open them for fear of facing the voice that has been haunting my dreams for the past couple weeks and also I really didn't want to see myself after that embrace from whatever had electrocuted me.

"Ah not really, I kinda been trying to get to your thoughts for some time now," he said reluctantly, "I was reading your mind."

Before he could explain my eyes flung open ready to protest with little success as I was paralyzed by the hazel eyes that met mine when I sat up. Turning to take in my surroundings I was in even more awe by the captivating scenery. I have never seen such beauty in my entire 17 years on earth. Large suspended... islands? But they were not surrounded by water so what were they? Floating masses of lands in thin air with large crystalline buildings with masssive gardens with vast varieties of flowers that I wouldn't have imagined existed. In the centre of it all was the largest castle I have ever seen if those in story books count. It was accessorized with fountains and gardens and statues. I was on one of the small masse with no buildings only a small patch of grass where I layed a few seconds ago. Wow God I have to give it to you, I didn't imagine heaven like this. I thought

"You are not in heaven Sky," the voice said and it pulled me out of my awe-strucked state. So I slowly turned to face the.... angel? Not entirely sure but when I turned my mouth fell gaping at the sight of the fitted bodied light blond hazel eyed creature that stood before me. Okay he is definitely an angel. I scanned him slowly and a storm of thoughts went through my head while a smile played its way on his lips.

Oh no... Get out of my head! I thought as stern as thougths could be.

"Oh I'm sorry," he said with the smile still painted across his face. "I didn't realize that you have recovered full consciousness." He saw the confusion on my face and got serious.

"Wha.. what are you?" I asked wishing I didn't sound so ridiculous.

Ahem! He cleared his throat. "Well my name is Lucas Hemmings and im a Phoenix Prince, the only Phoenix Prince I should add." Sounding more egotistic than he had hoped for. He looked at me for a response, when he got none, he continued. "Ok Sky let me explain, you are in Philestria, it's a place for pure supernatural creatures, like myself, to be safe from the dark arts. I was born here though to mother Ursela and father Collidon. Each super natural here is assigned to two or more humans to guard. And I was assigned to you only and I fail.." He trailed off into thoughts and I sought the opportunity to speak..

"What? Supernatural? Then wh.. why am I here... I'm human?" I stopped in remembrance of my last day on earth. "Wait.. wha.. what happened to me?" I was now baffled by the sight of me being shocked and I fell to my knees and started weeping. No i couldn't be dead.. I have a future to look foward to. I have a disfunctional family to not go home to. What about Ashley and Justin? They will not forgive me for dropping out on them so early. And Lydia... Oh poor Lydia will not have anyone o keep her company. She would propaply lose her job. I weeped even louder and Lucas knelt infront of me and held my hands.

"Hey hey hey.. no waterworks okay? You did not die Skylar." My now damp eyes shot up at him in confusion. He sat on his legs and continued. "You see. There was a fight here between my parnets, the king and queen, which caused a freak storm worldwide. My dad had accidentally let out one of his lightening bolts and it fell to earth. He knew how dangerous it was and it could kill millons. He sent me to earth to retreive it. It had been bouncing from city to city and it headed towards your little island. I know your island would have been destroyed by the hit so I was hurrying to get it before it touched the island. It was heading towards some trees near where you were driving and my thoughts were all over the place. My father would have killed me if I allowed it to kill someone. Especially the one I was assigned to protect. So I passed infront of your car thinking you would divert. You did but the truck caused you to go right in the way. When you stepped out of the car it hit you right in the back. I went to get help. I thought you were done for so I came back here to tell my father and he told me the lightening is still living. We wondered how was that possible and concluded that you absorbed it and it somehow teleported your spirit here. Thats how I could find you here. The spirit of the lightening and your spirit somehow merged and formed one. However your body is still on earth in the hospital. I checked several times and informed your parents but they aren't there as yet." He stopped to check if I was processing what he was saying. I said nothing. I sat back on my legs and stared at the grass. "So.. um.. you're not dead, you're in a coma."

I finally looked up at him and asked, "so how will I get back?"

His face fell in disappointment?.. why was he disappointed? He then replied, "you see Sky we only concluded that the lightening brought your spirit here we aren't entirely sure how much of that is true. So we still haven't figured out how to get you back." He saw the tears forming in my eyes," but I promise we will as soon as possible I have already got someone working on it. But in the mean time I could give you a tour of this place. It's pretty amazing." He stood with a smile and held out a hand to mine. I allowed him to pull me up. "But first..." He materialized a mirror in his hand and held it infront of my face. Just as I saw myself, I was shocked, again, thank God not by lightening this time. I couldn't believe what I saw.

Soooooo this is my second chapter.. Yayie I updated early cuz I know how much it sucks to be waiting on a book to be updated. So to make things interesting I want you guys to comment and tell me what you think happened to Sky why she was so surprised. Kinda obvious tho but guess anyway. Again apologies for the bad grammar or misspellings :) I will try working harder on not doing that too often. lol yes tooo often becuz I'm human...
